Great boot.
This is an excellent boot for us high-ambient-temp riders. Bought them to replace my Sidi Strada's air summer boots (46), which do not protect my ankles. These are the shortest SAFE boots you can buy IMO. They're also wider than normal, so you can wear thick socks if your feet are not that wide. But was told they run very large. I use 12 in motorcycle boots, and ordered 11 (45), and they were still a bit large... but with thick socks, perfect. That's the kind of advice and service you can only get from Revzilla. Thank you folks. To finish, will look for the waterproof (identical otherwise) model to get on sale and jump on it too. The Sidi Strada waterproof long boots are just too uncomfortable to me. Hope this helps folks.

awesome for warm weather
Season is ending for this year, but these boots were great. Excellent airflow and pretty good protection. Comfortable on aggressive footpads and some walking too.

Even though I have other TCX boots, they fit large. I ordered a full size smaller for good fit.

Great airflow, wide toe box
After riding for five years wearing boots that are too narrow for my wide feet (Sidi Canyons) I bought a pair of TCX Evo Airs. They don't offer the protection that the Canyons do, no shin protection, for example, but they flow a ton of air, and more importantly, are nice and wide. I normally wear a 9.5W, and the 43 in these boots fits well width-wise, but are about 1/2 size too long, but I'm sticking with them.

worth the money, and a great boot!
Its a great boot, full of features that you pay for.
In detail, I bought this boot the end of Aug. I generally have a wide foot, so I ordered a longer size, and it fit fine(44 instead of 42).
I wore the boots 8-12 hrs per day for the first 3 weeks, as I was on a trip across the US. I got a few days rest then enrolled in an Instructor's course where I walked 4 or 5 miles per day, 3 hrs of standing, and 10-12 hrs of wear - they did great!
Three weeks later, I taught a class where I stood for most of the day, walked about 6 miles, and put about 11 hrs in the boot. The best part of them is the ventilation. They would be hot at 90F, but one short ride with toes pointed down, and I was fine! I never had to use the ankle support/protection but I felt very comfortable; the strap helped reaffirm that feeling.
I am a little sketchy on the Michelin Power soles. After 4 months of near constant use they are wearing very slightly. I say slightly because with a tread depth of only 1/4" or so, I thot they would be bald by now, so, plus for that. The reflective bits are ok as they are under my Aerostich
The only thing I might begrudge is the price. I really can't complain, as there are few others with such features in the same or higher price range. I may get another pair of T#boot#s to switch off, but the last pair of those died a horrible death in only a few months. The plastic sole had cracked in half, and most of the tread was gone from the middle and heel. I would give them 4.75 stars, but if you can afford the support and safety, then I'd say go for it.
Maybe I'll just bite the bullet and buy another pair of these - btw, how do I get them "resoled"?

Great all around boot
I was not to sure about the style of the boot at first. The ankle protection is great, but the boot looked a bit unbalanced with the slimmer foot area. But, when I stepped into the boots I was sold. These boots are comfortable on or off the bike. Plus the breathable material makes a big difference for Florida rides. Overall I would say the comfort and protection of the boots is enough to make you like the style.

Great comfort for a motorcycle boot!
I wasn't sure about buying a short boot but thought it would be better for HOT South Texas roads and 3 to 6 hour journeys.
I was not disappointed as i was apprehensive about the fit.
Great width - i have a wide foot - and great size - i am 46/12
very comfy even when stading on the beach for an hour!
finish looks great and love the way they lace up in a lazy way so you dont tie your foot into a hot box!
great boot - good value and move and feel as described
highly recommended - i am a happy FZ1 rider

What is the lowest air temperature you would recommend commuting in these boots?
A shopper on Sep 18, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I ride in these boots in the morning during my commute to work from the Santa Ynez valley in Ca to Santa Barbara Ca in the winter outside air temps between 25-35 degrees (below 25 I'm in my car) so wind chill is below zero at 70-75 MPH. My feet do get a little cold for the short time I have to ride in the sub 32 degree air temp. Once I hit the coast which is only 15 miles and the air temp goes up to mid 40's it's all good. If I had to ride a further distance in the sub 32 degree air would have to put another layer of socks on. The tongue lets to much air through..which is good in the summer...
What is the lowest air temperature you would recommend riding in these boots?
A shopper on Sep 18, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Love these boots for warm weather. Unlike anything waterproof they actually flow air - I can feel a slight breeze around my foot through the mesh tongue. Not like a mesh jacket, but there's definitely air moving down there. One can always hope for more, but honestly the airflow exceeded my expectations for a certified boot. They're not made for cooler weather, and I haven't yet had a winter with them to say just how cool I'd still use them. I'd say any time the weather suits wearing an unlined mesh jacket minus another 10 degrees you'd be OK.
What size should I get if I'm between sizes?
A shopper on Aug 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I'd say the larger size. Too small would be painful, and you can cinch them down a bit with the laces. Also, I wouldn't say these run small, but they're not naturally roomy. Still like these boots after a year - unexpectedly breezy. I don't expect the disappointingly thin sole to last, though.
How easy is it to re-sole these boots? Are the soles stitched to the boot, or molded to them?
Zachary N on Jan 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I contacted the manufacturer - they said it can't be done. I've worn thru them in only 4 months! I mentioned that I was a long time customer of TCX/Oxtar; and I sent pics showing the wear. They sent me another pair! I 'think' it might be possible to grind it off and replace it with something generic. The uppers are still in new condition.
How are these shoes for walking around? I'd like to use these shoes off the bike too. Thoughts?
Jonathan N on Jul 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I have had these boots for about a year. The farthest I have walked in them was about 1/2 mile and they are certainly comfortable, but I would not choose these boots just for walking. However, they work well for me when walking off the bike.
How does this shoe fit?
A C on Mar 2, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Fits just like regular shoe size. I'm an 11, bought an 11, fits perfectly. Love them. Took these on a 2000 mile trip Vegas-New Orleans and only took them off to sleep. You get a nice breeze flowing through around when you shift into second. Hit rain and they're soaked in 5 mins, but the airflow dries them out quick when it stops.
