Comfortable and great-looking!
I wanted a good, protective moto-boot that didn’t look dorky (I am vain that way). I love these boots! The color is great: a very dark, cool brown with no orangey tones. They are sleek enough to wear as regular, off-cycle, boots. I work in the beauty industry, so my work attire can be casual or funky, but has to be somewhat stylish. I wore these boots to work today with tights and a short dress and got compliments from everyone!

As far as sizing, I am typically a size 7 American, a 37 Euro for regular shoes and sandals, and 38 Euro for boots. My foot is on the wider side, but not wide enough to wear an actual wide-width shoe. The TCX size chart was utterly confusing, but thanks to Alessandra’s video, I ordered my normal boot-size 38 and they are perfect - whew! - a little roomy with thin boot socks, but I can wear them with thicker socks no problem. So I would say just order your normal Euro size for boots and you should be good.

The leather is very pliable right out of the box. I wore them all day for the first two days I owned them and had not one second of discomfort. I live in Hawaii and was worried that they would be hot because they’re waterproof, but they are not; they feel as breathable as any other non-waterproof leather boot I own. I appreciate the reinforcement at the shifter point; it’s functional and looks nice too. It’s actually the only thing that gives away the fact that these are motorcycle boots. Well, that and the circles of armor in the inner/outer ankles (which, by the way, do NOT make your ankles look unnaturally thick... hooray!). There is a slight lift inside the boot which helps me, a short rider, get more stable footing on the bike, and off the bike just makes my legs look longer :)

Gotta say it again, I love these boots!

Love my new boots!!!
I was looking for something more versatile to wear without taking an extra pair of shoes to work to change into, because my Alpinestars just scream that I just got off a bike. They leather is super durable they're extremely comfortable. They are a bit long in the toe box, but it's nothing that's going to bother me plus it'll allow me to wear thicker socks in the winter time. I'm so glad I purchased these!! I wish companies would make more stylish women's riding boots.

Love these boots!
They are very comfortable on and off the bike. I usually wear a 7 but had to get a 38 (6.5) and they fit just right.

First impressions
Just got my tcx blend women’s boots and I’m so happy! They are exactly what I had in mind, simple and classic combat boot style and protective enough for casual riding. But to be honest they will also be my everyday boots for fall and winter! I was nervous about a couple of things... that they would be too brown... the picture looks almost black but the description says brown, but they look true to the picture, a very dark mocha color. In my opinion that totally works with black pants. Also I accidentally ordered a euro size 40 thinking that was a US women’s 9, but the tcx sizing calls 40 a women’s 8. Well I’m a solid 9, and the 40’s are snug and narrow but plenty long enough even with thick socks. I will stick with them. Haven’t even left the house yet in them but I couldn’t wait to write a review because I feel so lucky the sizing and color worked out for me and I don’t have to go to the post office to return them now! Also they look great with tight jeans tucked in or with my leathers pulled over the tops. Thanks tcx and revzilla!

Best boot I've bought in a long time!
Wow, thank you TCX! I just got these and I'm in love. I was worried as other reviews said they might be narrow.....well, I had my foot crushed by a horse when I was a teenager, and as a result my right toes are splayed out and I have a big bunion. These boots are far from narrow, they fit amazing.

As others said, roomy in the toe box which I love, wearing thick socks right now to stretch them out but they also fit fine with my thin summer socks.

The quality of materials is top notch. I wool be wearing these as a daily boot and also a riding boot, so I'm glad they are so well made. Also, they are fairly lightweight, awesome!

Fit: I am a true size 8 in boots and the 40 fit perfect.

Color: they are brown, in my opinion, they are mode brown than the photo on here shows. The soles are black and they're is a clear color distinction between them and the leather.

I am so, so pleased with these!

A good start, but needs improvement
I have very tiny heels, but a wider foot so non-lace boots often will not work for me. I was extremely excited to see a pair of women's motorcycle boots that are for every day use with protective features and laces. I purchased them as soon as they became available.

Now 8 months down the line I would buy another pair if in a pinch, but will be looking elsewhere for a replacement. The insoles are worn and I can tell that heel blisters are on the horizon. I have not been able to source replacement insoles as of yet.

Because these are waterproof with a waterproof liner they do not breathe at all. My feet sweat a lot and add in months of 100°F weather and these boots stink to high heaven. They can stay wet from sweat for hours after I get off the bike. I've worn them in the rain on the bike without rainwater seeping into the boot, but the last extreme flash food I was in I was wearing different boots so I don't know if they will eventually become waterlogged.

After initial wear in they also can look a little rough. I have no idea what type of leather these are made out of, but it tends to look old and uncared for even if I cleaned and treated them 2 days prior. Initially I was a little disappointed with the appearance of these boots and that still holds true. They could look more polished and well constructed without glue showing in places. But that said I haven't had anything other than the insole fall apart after 8 months so they certainly aren't poorly built.

They could lace a little tighter and the foot bed is maybe just a touch big in my normal boot size of 8.5M.

They feel good on all of the various (7 or 8?) bikes I've worn them on, from sport to standard. The tread still looks like it has several months to go after 8 months of nearly daily wear.

I'm not sure how protective these really are, but I surely do like the armor at the ankle bone--at least in concept. The traction is good, I've never had my foot slip on the road gravel or oil.

This is so ubiquitous that it's hardly worth saying, but i still think adding a shifter pad on the right boot is beyond silly.

The main thing that would deter me from purchasing these again is the price. I don't know that they are overpriced...they do seem substantially made. But they could have better protection, better fit, and better style details for the same price.

Great boots!
These boots rock! Put them on and they felt like an old friend. Immediately wore them for a week solid on a ocean/hiking trip. (Not a motorcycle vacation because it's frozen winter here right now) Not a blister or tight spot. Lightweight but solid, great for walking which is good for a riding boot, which can be bulky and heavy. These are going to be my everyday, all-day riding boots! I ordered 1/2 smaller as per comments - they seem a bit long still, but fit good in the width, so I chose to keep them. I wish I could try on the smaller size and know for sure but nonetheless, I love these boots. My only disappointment is I did not know that when delivered by UPS I would have to pay $70 import/taxes. Made the purchase a lot less economically pleasing. Please if possible send or ship in a more financially friendly manner.

Very stylish, comfortable, and a little big
My wife wears a 7 (39) in almost every manufacturer except Dianese. These haven't been worn riding yet, so this is merely a fit and finish review at this point. I will update later once she's worn them on the bike.

The fit is long for a seven; not quite two sizes up, but more than one size up. Fortunately the food bed is on the narrow side and the mid-height makes cinching them down tight easy. They are not so long as to trip her up walking around.

The comfort level is on par with a pair of Sorels she has, so I'd say they have have the potential to be worn all day of the bike if needed.

The finish is premium. The vintage look is on point and they feel very well made and sturdy. Assuming the sole holds up under riding wear and tear, these should be around for a long while.

Purchase with confidence.

I purchased these boots because they has good protection and look good off the bike as well. I absolutely love them. Fits like a glove, so so comfortable. I’m a size 9 and i ordered a size 40. Also, I ordered them Friday and received my order Monday with standard shipping. I was very happy about that as well. Good job revzilla the video helped me out with my decision and you have quick shipping. Thank you!

Great boots!
I bought these boots because my track boots just weren't comfortable for long days. They are a great dark brown color. I usually wear a 7 or 7.5 and ordered the 38 and they're a bit long, but they aren't too wide, which is nice. I've only had them a few weeks so can't speak to the durability, but they seem well made. The comfort is fantastic. I needed boots for a jobsite visit the other day, and grabbed these - they stood up to 6 hours of walking up and down hills, climbing over logs, loose rocks, etc, and I didn't have any discomfort all day. I have never had a pair of motorcycle boots I could do that with!

Are these brown or black?
A C on Oct 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: They are a super dark mocha color but they go well with black or brown. When I wear black jeans with them, they seem to be more of a charcoal color, but when I wear lighter colored pants, they seem to have a dark mocha look.
If I'm a US size 6.5 what would the best size be?
A shopper on Jun 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: My wife is regularily a size 5.5, or 37 EUR size. and we purchased the 4.5 or 36 EUR size and they initially fit a little snug, but after a couple wearings have loosened enough to be comfortable.
If I'm US size 7 should I get a 38 or 39 ?
Diane V on Feb 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I got a 37 and I have wide feet - (6 1/2 and usually 36 Euro) and there is plenty of room - so I wouldn't think larger than 38! Really comfy boots out of the box with a bit of lift!
I have flat feet - do these run narrower or normal or wider?
A shopper on Nov 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I would say they fit true to normal. I have narrow to normal size feet and don’t feel that they wiggle around at all.
Has anyone experienced stretching with these boots?
Shannon P on Aug 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I bought these boots about 5 months ago, they fit my foot perfectly on purchase and the leather has softened to become even more comfortable walking around, but I wouldn't say they have stretched significantly.
