S&S Super Stock Cylinder Heads For Harley Twin Cam

Bolt on some ground-poundin' power. These heads are designed to be used with stock flat top or aftermarket pistons. You don't need crazy-master-engine-builder-status to make good, usable power - just bolt them in and go. While they will work with stock components, a good exhaust, air cleaner, and cam will make these heads really shine. (You can go a little wilder with the cam, too - S&S installs high-lift springs for you!) As with most engine modifications on a Blockhead, adjustable pushrods are a great (but not absolutely necessary) addition to whatever package you're putting together. Don't forget gaskets!

High port flow gives great performance now, and more later when additional upgrades are done
Heads are fully assembled with springs and valves, and are available in silver or wrinkle black powder-coat
Compression ratios vary depending on cylinder heads chosen, pistons used and engine displacement
The 79cc combustion chamber provides a slightly higher than stock, which makes most performance cams work better
79cc heads work great with stock motors for 88" to 103" motors
1.940" intake and 1.575" exhaust valve and springs for up to .640" lift
Heads accept OEM rocker boxes
Heads are machined for compression releases (sold separately); S&S rocker boxes required when using S&S compression releases
Do not include rocker arm components, intake manifold, gaskets or head bolts (requires eight long OEM length head bolts)
Compatible with stock rocker boxes, exhaust, and intake manifolds

This product is not legal for street use on an emissions-controlled vehicle. It may be used on dedicated competition or pre-pollution-controlled vehicles only.

It is the responsibility of the installer to check and re-check all clearances when installing these heads.
Not compatible with Twin Cooled heads.
If cams with higher TDC lifts are used or if heads are decked, piston valve pockets will require re-machining.
Does not include rocker arm components, intake manifold or gaskets.
Should not be used with any piston having a pop up dome.
Must use S&S rocker boxes if S&S compression releases are used.
