Spiegler Brake Light Switch Single Banjo

Out of all the hydraulic brake light switches on the market, there's only one that is ridiculously good looking. Other switches have visible black and red wires protruding from their tops. The Spiegler Brake Light Switch is wearing a cool molded black (metaphorically leather) jacket that feeds exiting wires into a sheathed cable. Spiegler's Swiss quality covers all things braking.

This pressure activated switch replaces your existing banjo bolt to eliminate the need for OEM brake light switches. Single banjo bolt supports 1 brake line.

Replaced Microswitches
Replaced all the flimsy microswitches on my Monster 796. I liked the spiegler switch cause it comes with a nice cover and looks presentable out of the box. it does come with terminals instead of bullet connectors which i dislike and would much rather the standard bullet connectors for the ease of install. overall works as intended and looks great.

Good Functioning Product
I have the spiegler brake lines.

For the ninja 650, install was a breeze, the oem brake light switch is a direct plug&play with the wiring harness, located not 5 inches from the rear master cylinder.

This brake light switch comes already installed with male connectors, and includes female connectors too.

You must cut the male connectors, strip the wire and crimp the female connectors on. (Crimping would not allow me to fit these connections through the OEM brake light switch connector housing; therefore you could try crimping them together, while in the housing (the housing flexes), however it was too late for me.

I tossed the housing, made the connections to the wiring harness and electric taped my own housing, ya know?

at least for the ninja 650,
YOU DON'T NEED TO SPLICE IF YOU SO CHOOSE

Super Tip:
You'll need to bleed your line obviously.
When you're building pressure to expel the old fluid, do it as if you were panic stopping; resulting, in a complete flush of little air pockets that may have slipped through, the last brake service. My brake feel and performance was seriously, surprising after that. So good.
Hope that helps.
