Just Over Four months!
And I've had to replace them.

So in those four months they worked, fit, performed and were comfortable for everyday commuting.

I feel like these could have done so much better with a little higher quality materials. See the attached photos. Both of the shoes soles were fairly worn down and were no longer trustworthy while coming to stops where the road was slick or wet. The stitching in front of became worn and was frayed off, and where the leather meets the sole became so worn it was tearing into a hole on the outside of the shoe.

Being only four months old I contacted S&S on friday and they promptly emailed me back asking for photos of the shoes. After a busy weekend I send the photos monday morning and few hours later get emailed back saying that a new pair of shoes on in the mail along with prepaid postage to send the old shoes back.

So would I recommend these? If our going to heavily commute definitely not (which I'm sure these shoes were not intended for). Would buy them again if for only using occasionally on the weekends absolutely.

Speed and Strength stands by its gear and has a great customer service to me that alone with worth the peace of mind when buying awesome gear.l

Not what I expected!
I honestly expected these to be bulky, uncomfortable, with very little support. Was I surprised. The shoes look so much better in person. The picture does not do it any justice. It is very comfortable, durable, and it kept me dry in rain. Plus, they are stylish. My goal is to keep buying these until they stop making them.

Disappointed In A Great Shoe
I bought this shoe in August of 2016, it arrived promptly and the shoes look and feel awesome! They're stylish and go with everything I wear. It is now November of 2016, and I am disappointed with these shoes. The stitching around the sole has come out completely so it's only the glue holding the sole on which means it's only a matter of time before it comes off. A hole has opened up on the right toe and the leather around the toes is cracked and tearing horribly. Now I love the way this shoe is designed, it's still very comfortable and the laces are still brand new, but for the $100 I spent on these I expect to at least get a years worth of time in them but I only got 4 months. I would not recommend these to anyone who like me, rides everyday year round so these were essential everyday shoes. I recommend to speed and strength to reinforce the toe box a little more and double stitch the sole with a stronger thread.I'll not be purchasing these again.

Good looking shoe.
Nice stylish shoe that passes for a regular shoe if your going to be walking around and dont want some big boot on your foot. Its comfortable to wear for long periods of time and while riding. It has some added protection in certain areas, but i dont really know how much it will really protect your foot or not in the event of a wreck. I havent tested it yet, and dont plan on it. Ive never owned a riding boot before but my guess is that a boot would be much better for protection, but if a boots not what your looking for, this is a good choice. I wear this shoe as my regular shoe even when im not riding my bike.

I LOVE THESE!!!
Being in Texas, I needed something that breathes really well! So far so good with these. They are very comfortable and I still have plenty of feel around the rear brake and clutch. I haven't had them long but I can tell that they sole is a little soft. So as long as you don't drag your feet at stops and take offs.... you are golden! Definitely a great buy for the price!

You can't buy these shoes in Australian retails stores and you will be limited to the brands available.

The shoe provides the protection needed.
This shoe feels solid and will protect you when riding. The only issue I have is my shifter gets caught on the ridge covering the laces. So I need to adjust how I place my foot on the pegs to shift.

Nice look bottom out fast
Happy with the style and the look good. The fit of the show is a little big. I really like the shoes but the sole wore out extremely fast. I would expect a more durable product for the price point.

Super comfortable shoe
I'm impressed how comfortable these shoes are. They have like a steel toe feel yet lighter. Even though they are leather they didn't feel like they needed to be broken in. I'm really impressed how you only pay the price of the item instead of shipping and taxes. Overall these shoes are great and the company is awesome.

These shoes look good and protect you better than sneakers. Wear them with jeans and you won't look like you're racing in the MotoGP, like some boots out there. That to me is the whole benefit of these -- increased protection over a sneaker, and very normal looking.

I usually wear a size 10 wide, do these things have a naturally wide fit or would i be better off sticking with my boots?
A shopper on Jul 27, 2015
BEST ANSWER: They are wide in the heel only, fairly snug everywhere else.
I'm a size 10.5 would you recommend going to a 10 or 11 shoe size?
A shopper on Jan 31, 2015
BEST ANSWER: depends on if you want to have a more of a snug fit or a loose fit in your case. I'm a 12 and I got a size 12 and it fits just as any other would, maybe a little bigger. I'd recommend the 10 size, better safe than sorry. if it doesn't fit then send it back, revzilla makes it super easy and they're outstanding with customer service.
I have a 10.5 shoe size. For half sizes should I go up to an 11 or down to a 10?
A S on Jan 31, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I'm a size 12 and that's what I bought. They fit perfect but they are a little loose if I'm wearing thin ankle/puma socks that I'd normally wear with sneakers. Because of that I normally wear gold toe socks with these that just go above the ankle. Gold toes are a little thicker too and still seem fine for summer riding. So you could try the same thing with a size 11 or go with the size 10 and hope that they don't cramp your foot. Sorry I couldn't help anymore than this but these things seem to run pretty true to their size. They look great though and people ask me about them all the time. Good luck and have fun riding.

i need over the ankle boots for my msf course but don't wanna go with a full size boot. Will these cover the ankle completely?
A shopper on Jan 18, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes they will cover your whole ankle. I don't know exactly how much cover your looking for but this is comparable to a high top sneaker, but with a bit more protection. I have worn this shoe all year and I ride an r6 and a bolt and works great with both. But if your looking for like heavy duty protection, this is not the shoe. This is just like I said, a high top sneaker that's just more durable and stronger for protection than a regular one. I also wore these for my msf course in California. Hope this helped.
Do these shoes cover the ankle?
A S on Oct 4, 2013
BEST ANSWER: They do have ankle protection.
Do any owners of this shoe have problems or any type of discomfort shifting gears do to the stitched lip that goes all around the front of the shoe? Thanks.
Damianpg53 on Jun 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No problems shifting. I will say that, after about a year of daily use, you will likely have to stitch in new velcro because the included velco will wear out (not stick) and start to come off.
how are these shoes sized?
A shopper on Jan 6, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I would say that they have a normal fit. I usually wear a 10/10.5 tennis shoe and I ordered a size 10 run with the bulls and they fit great.
How do the SOS shoe sizes compare to their boot sizes? I have the Hard Knock Life boots in size 11. They fit very comfortably, with a little bit of extra room, but not to the point where they are too loose. Do the SOS shoe sizes stay true to their boot sizes? If I get theses shoes in size 11 will they fit like their boots in size 11? Keeping in mind I would like to have the same fit in this shoe as I do in the Hard Knock Life boots.
Thank you.
A shopper on May 28, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I'm sure they will fit same size as boots, I do have size 11 they are not loose at all very comfortable shoes compare to any regular sneakers with no protection at all best riding shoes I have by far ...pull the trigger buy them I'm sure you can put them on try them if they fit tight or not revzilla has a return policy if you don't like them.
In some shoes I have a wide foot. And others i dont so how do you think i should go about purchasing this shoe. Should i go with a different shoe or go with a bigger size?
A C on Feb 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Have a wide foot. I bought these shoes and they are very comfortable. They are wider than my foot. I swear they are more comfortable than sneakers i have owned. You will not be dissapointed with these shoes!
What is 2.0 about it? What's the diff between this and the originals?
Scott M on Sep 25, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi Scott, really good question. I've done a little research and it seems to me that technically there is no difference between the 2.0 and the originals.
I think that revzilla make this difference since they add the differents colors (I guess), at the beginning there were only one choice of color, as you can hear in the video review.
If you look at the website of speed and strength there is no 2.0 in the product catalog, wich is odd. So That's why I think there is no big difference between the two models.
I personally bought with discount so it made it cheaper in the moment.
BTW, great shoe, strongly recommend if you want something casual to ride.
I hope this helps.

Regards, Jose.

PD: Sorry for my english.
