saved my body
Last night at 8:30 pm i crashed my bike due to a parked car in my lane at the crest of a hill, in a 55mph zone. This jacket is so padded that i sustained not one injury to my torso. The pads on the left shoulder are exposed and show the skid marks from when I went sliding down the road. Walked away with a missing boot and swollen ankle. I am telling you this jacket is worth every penny, and I would be in the hospital for sure if I was not wearing it. Aside from that, it has great ventilation via vents in the arms, underarms, and the back zipping down. It has many waterproof pockets that keep electronics dry. It is also comfortable as heck and can adjust on the hips by the use of sturdy velcro straps. Keeps you dry and warm with its three liners. Definitely a serious jacket. Heck, mine is still usable if i sow up the left arm pad!

Great 4 (and 3!) season jacket.
For reference: I am 5'9" and 155lbs, athletic frame. I ordered the medium and it fits perfectly. A small have been too small and constricting.

I bought this jacket and have been using it for a few weeks now, and I've been 100% happy with my purchase.

- It's obvious from the start that the jacket is high quality.
- The zipper channel is well thought out and will flow water downward.
- The waterproof (I think? Haven't tested them) front pockets are nice to store phone/wallet in.
- The venting system is *really* nice. The back panel provides a lot of surface area for airflow, and the arm zippers are great.
- I love having the tightening straps around the rib cage and forearm area. It's easy to get a good fit.
- The removable layers are nice; the snap buttons make it easy to remove/insert, and they stay in place.
- With no liners and the vents open, the jacket breaths well.
- The jacket has just the right amount of high-viz to make you visible, but doesn't look overly tacky.
- The armor is high quality, and the fabric around the impact areas feels like it would hold up well in a crash.

My only complaint is the velcro sometimes gets caught on itself, but it's a minor complaint and doesn't detract at all. Some people may be unhappy that you have to remove the liners to switch jacket 'modes', but that's part of the compromise for having a 4 season jacket. I also wish it had a better back protector, but that's easy enough to upgrade.

I'm really happy with the jacket.

Good looking. Good protection.
I bought this jacket for my wife to put under the tree at Christmas so I've not had a lot of chance to use it. I went on a 100 mile ride a few weeks ago and used this coat with just an under armour compression cold gear shirt underneath and no liner. I was perfectly comfortable in 35 degree weather at freeway speeds. I like the looks of the jacket and was impressed by the ventilation features though I've not used them yet. I'm anxious for warmer weather so I can put this and my new Scorpion pants to a truer test but I would definitely recommend this jacket. I'm 6'2" tall 230 lbs and bought the 2XL. With the liner in it's really snug so it definitely runs small. Nothing some good Moab adventure riding and a few table push-aways won't cure. I like this jacket a lot.

Nice 4-Season Jacket
Thank you Reveille Team for all your help picking out this jacket.
I talked to 4 Geeks at Revzilla, and they all mention this jacket specifically for my body type when looking for a 4-season (Hot summer riding) jacket for Athletic Body Types. They all had very positive things to say about this company in general, and this jacket in particular.

I just received this jacket. I have not worn it riding yet, but I can tell I like it already. It does run slightly small, but a motorcycle jacket should fit snug for safety and insulation value.

The Yosemite by Scorpion is geared towards narrow body types with broader shoulders and "less around the middle" (athletic body types). The cut of the jacket is noticeably triangular from shoulders to waist, but there is some room for adjustability by using the cinch straps. Sits about mid-waist in front and bottom of butt in back.

I am 6', 170, 33" jeans waist and I wear a Large in this jacket. It fits like a glove. It is snug with the liners in and slightly loose without liners. Just the way I like it. I replaced back protector with D30, so I factored in about an extra inch or so of width in the fitment.

I chose the Hi-Viz version (my first Hi-Viz jacket). Although "style" is a personal choice, I think this jacket strikes the perfect balance between visibility and being a sharp looking jacket. It would be suitable for several types of riders (although clearly geared for the Commuting, ADV, Touring crowd).

I own 5 other jackets (2 for cold weather riding, and 3 for warm weather riding). This jacket was meant to replace those jackets for all but the hottest and coldest weather. I think this is a great 4-season riding jacket in both comfort, fitment, safety, versatility, and visibility. I live in Wisconsin where it can be cold in the morning and hot in the afternoon. I like that I can 'close' up the vents in the morning, and 'unzip' the vents in the afternoons and only need to think about one jacket. The venting is far superior to my other 3 season jackets, and the armor is among the best available.

A few nitpicks:
-I wish they put hand pockets behind the front cargo pockets.
-stretch panels behind the shoulders would have been highly appreciated. The jacket is a little stiff there.

Love:
-The D30 armor is a great feature for a sub $400 jacket. (a also added the back protector).
- I love the monkey paws on the rain liner.
- nice warm zip-in thermal liner (although I would personally never wear it as a "destination" liner, because it is so short.)
-I love the style.

* I may update this later after wearing it this coming riding season.

Verdict:
Buy it!

Seems to run small
I'm 5'10" 155lbs, wear 32-33" waist-size jeans, and normally wear a 38-40" fitted dress shirt or medium T-shirts and jackets. I got a medium size in this Scorpion jacket, and it's quite snug with all the liners in, and fairly snug even with them removed. I'm probably going to exchange for a Large size.

Well made for the money !
1. Seems to run small. I am usually somewhere in between a medium and a large. so a large is usually a safe bet to fit. Not in this case. Due to the (2) inner liners I would suggest going 2 sizes above what is normally worn.

2. Impressed with construction and flexibility of jacket. I ride in temps down into 20's and into the 90's and I feel like this jacket is able to adapt to varying temps well.
So far I really like the jacket.

One Ride Review
I got this Scorpion Yosemite High Viz jacket in the mail yesterday and I came very close to sending it back. It does indeed run small in the fit. It is a little tight in the shoulders and chest. I am 5'9", and 175 and I ordered a size large. It is a pretty snug fit with the rain and thermal liners. Since I live in Georgia, I don't need the thermal liner very often so I decided to keep the jacket, although I would prefer more room inside the shell to layer up. That is my biggest complaint. The high viz panels on the jacket really pop, and I like that. One of the biggest selling points on this jacket for me was the ability to open up all those huge vents for cooling in warmer weather. I haven't had the chance to do that yet, but I'm sure it will be awesome at flowing air. And I haven't had the chance to ride in the rain yet, so no comment on that either. The collar is a bit hard to close over my neck gator and I may have to sew a Velcro strap on there to help hold it shut or put my gator on after/over the jacket collar. Most of the jacket looks to be single stitched, and I have my doubts about how long it will hold up to someone who rides everyday all year like I do. The zippers are a bit lightweight too. I'll have to remember to be gentle with them. But with all my nit picking, I think it is a very good looking jacket that should provide good protection when riding in most weather conditions. It would be hard to find one better without paying hundreds more.

Good jacket but one complaint
I was looking for a replacement jacket after going down with my Spidi jacket and burning a hole through the sleeve. The armour protected any injury but the jacket was a little ragged.
I'm glad I listened to the reviewers and got one size larger in the Scorpion jacket. The jacket lives up to its ability to cover a wide range of temperatures. My last ride went from 50 to 90 degrees and I just wore a long sleeve under armour underneath. I did not have the liner in the jacket but would have felt a little warmer at the beginning of the ride if I had. I had all the vents open by the end of the ride and the air flow felt really good. My main complaint with the jacket is the tendency for the various Velcro to attach itself to other things. It's more annoying when off the bike as the sleeve Velcro will grab the Velcro on the jacket but when I was riding, the Velcro on the collar grabbed the liner tab on my Shoei helmet. I did have the collar open when the temp hit 90 but a weird feeling when you try to turn your head and it's attached to your jacket. I haven't used it in the rain yet but I typically don't have that problem in Southern California! Overall it seems to be good quality and I hope the durability will be good.

How is this in hot weather?

BEST ANSWER: I have worn this jacket on 80+ degree days. With all the vents open it is very comfortable. And still offers protection. In stop and go traffic it was a little warm but vents well as soon as you start moving again.
Very interesting! Video soon? 9/25/15

BEST ANSWER: The product is decent, but does not compare to KLIM. I can imagine the zippers will fail in a matter of time. I ended up buying the best, but will only cry once.
