Disappointing Dark Smoke
The dark smoke visor is just too light for my liking. Far more light gets through than I expected, and you can see my face easily through it, which in my opinion, renders a dark smoke shield completely pointless. What's up with manufacturers making their dark smoke visor options so translucent these days?

Easy to put on the helmet and makes the gold helmet with the gold face shield look awesome. I think it will work with the sun not too sure yet as it has been slightly overcast when I have been riding. Over all it rocks with the helmet.

I ordered the Silver Mirror shield. Took a bit more force than I expected to install (never swapped a shield before). Went into place and has been great since. Bugs clean off easy and haven't left any marks. Looks great in pictures, and on sunny days gives a little bit of a sunglasses effect. Not sure how it will fare at night, but I would assume it's not wise to use this visor at that time - a clear one would be the best. It would be nice if it were a little cheaper, like 40-50. But either way, my first mirrored visor and i'm very happy with it on my R420 Helmet.

Silver Mirror Shield = Awesome
I got the silver mirror shield and it looks cool as hell but I will say that it was a bit difficult getting the shield onto the helmet but I got used to it so it's not a serious problem at all. Looks great on the helmet and works like a charm in the sun. Fingerprints get on it real easily and are visible in light so be sure to clean the shield whenever you touch the front of it for any reason. Other than that, great purchase, is a bit pricey but I'd say it was worth it in all aspects. I definitely recommend it!

BEST ANSWER: I like the mirror visor. It negates the need for sunglasses and is easy to swap for clear when it gets dark out. Be aware of local laws concerning mirrored lenses if applicable.

BEST ANSWER: Nope, they might look similar but the 420's latching mechanism is in the shield and would make this not compatible with the 710.
Is the optional gold lens a yellow shade or a blue shade?
