The jeans fit a little small. They're tight around the thigh area. The only thing I dont like about them is that the knee pads are down to my shins even when I sit down on the motorcycle. I dont feel like I am fully protected.

FIts like a regular jean, very comforatble
Good protection from the knee up to the hip. I haven't installed the additional Scorpion hip or knee armor yet so I cant comment on that but the jeans run true to size (5'9", 175 lbs,).
Good value for the money. If you want a pair of everyday looking jeans that don't look baggy and gives you a decent amount of protection for a modest sum, then these are good2go!

Comfortable, durable, discreet
I've worn these jeans about a dozen times before crashing my motorcycle. Prior to the crash, I thought these were very comfortable, but are noticeably more bulky to the wearer than standard jeans. From other perspectives, they aren't noticeable to other riders. They breath ok. After hitting a deer and a quick tumble and slide, there is some fraying in the denim on both hip bone areas, and to where my cell phone was, but no damage to the Kevlar material underneath. I didn't opt for the available armor to go into the built in pockets inside, but would have probably helped

Who has thighs this long?
These jeans were really comfortable, fit well and had a surprisingly good stretch.

The inner pockets for the hip armor were well-placed but not for the knee armor. Even putting the armor at the top of the pocket, the padding didn't even touch my knees and were more like shinguards. I had to cut a hole in the top of the inner pocket and use extra velcro to attach the knee pads in a high enough spot to work as knee pads.

YES! They are covert!
My company started "casual dress Fridays" where they will let us wear jeans on Fridays. I got a set of Covert Pro jeans so I can ride my bike up on Fridays.

NOBODY knows they aren't regular jeans unless you tell them. The material is softer to the touch than regular denim. Buy the Sas-Tec armor. If you're smart enough to buy Kevlar lined jeans, you're smart enough to know you need armor in them.

These jeans do not breathe like regular jeans. That having been said, I run highway pegs, and when I put my feet up, they act like scoops keeping me cool. Anything above 85F, and I'd probably switch over to my mesh motorcycle pants.

For me the knee pockets are low. They are high enough to be safe, but when I stand up off of the bike, the tops of the pads bump into the bottoms of my knee caps. It's not horribly uncomfortable, but it takes a little getting used to.

That having been said, the pockets are sewn in mesh, and it isn't hard to acquire some more mesh and hand sew in some new pockets if you really need to go higher.

Heads up
So I bought these jeans about 10 months ago. Everyone here says the knee amour hangs low. An easy fix i did was super glueing velcro to my D30 knee pads and BAM! Put them in at the appropriate height and your set. These jeans are on the baggy side though but nonetheless they are very comfortable. Thankfully I haven't had a chance to test them out.

Badly proportioned jeans. Knee armor pockets are way too low to put the armor where your knees actually are. The groin area is too tight, and I'm quite uncomfortable after about an hour. Not much airflow, and the general style of the jeans looks a bit tacky. They do seem well made however, and probably have pretty good abrasion resistance.

Two Years In, Still Awesome.
So I got these back in October of 2016, and they've been my only riding pant since. I ride as often as I possibly can, in all conditions short of really hard rain. Heat, cold, wind, whatever. These pants have handled all of it, including two 1000 mile trips this year, one of which I did encounter some rain on the second day we were out. Long story short, they take a long time to dry :) The only two negatives I can think of are the knee armor pockets and the maybe the cut. The knee armor pockets are worthless for someone like me with short legs. The armor just won't be in the correct position at all. If you have short legs and are concerned with the knee armor, definitely look elsewhere. And the cut. Like a skateboarding jean. Roomy, don't notice when you're on the bike, but far from stylish off of it. Doesn't really bother me too much, but if that's a concern, look elsewhere.

There are a lot of positives. They are massively comfortable on the bike. No scratchy parts, reasonably cool in the heat, and good for me down to around 35-40 degrees before I start layering up underneath. They've handled the thousands of miles I've put on them with absolutely no issues, and they still look incredibly good. I mean, they look worn, but in a good way. No failures at any of the seams, nothing with mesh slip liner, just really solid riding pants that have held up really well.

So again, if the knee armor and style are of concern, you might want to look elsewhere. if not, these are pretty much the only pair of jeans you'll need. They do it all and do it all extremely well.

Amazing protection
Just wanted to write a quick review of these "jeans", because I've crash tested them 3 times already. Yep, they're that good.

Honestly as you'll read, I was disapointed with how low the knee protectors seem to go, but believe me, I have short legs and in every crash they have protected my knees.

They aren't the most stylish, as they tend to be big or kind of baggy. Other than that, I have only compliments for them.

My first crash was a slow low side. No damage whatsoever to the jeans or myself.

My second crash was a high speed (aorund 75 mph) low side, scraping various fixed items on the road. I required surgery on my hand and other things, but surprise, these jeansheld like a champ, NO DAMAGE and my knees were spared.

Last crash, a 65 mph low side after a tank slapper, these jeans took it like a titan and saved my knees, hips and skin.

Honestly I'm buying a second pair, cause the "denim" part fot a little ripped after the last crash, but the kevlar layer was intact. So basically for cosmetic reasons.

If you're looking for top notch protection and at a GREAT price, don't even think about it.

It's really true to size. Most comfortable riding jeans ever. These are great for riding but they are also great for walking around in. Kept wearing them after my ride was done and no one could tell they were riding Jean. My wife also mentioned they looked like a high end jean.

Also bearable in hot central California weather.

Great Jean! Buying more as a backup.
