Solid product, a little pricey
If you've ever had your Shuberth S2 or C3Pro with the face shield, up, riding with just the internal visor down to get some air, you may have thought, "hey, this is a great idea, except the visor is a bit flimsy against the wind." With the Shuberth M1 urban helmet, the internal visor is sturdier, so it's apparently designed for riding with the (outer) face shield on or off.

The M1 is a large helmet to begin with, so with the face shield on, it's positively gigantic, so it's pretty tempting to remove if you're just running around city streets. Your eye protection then becomes the internal visor itself.

Then you'll realize that the dark smoke visor which comes with the M1 is something you might want to change up, for changing conditions, night riding or if you just prefer to wear sun glasses. It's pretty quick and easy to change, and unlike the internal visor that comes with the C3Pro, it doesn't seem so incredibly delicate and prone to accidental scratching.

The only reason it's not 5 stars for me is it the cost is a bit high for what you get, but if you've got a Shuberth, you're probably willing to pay a premium for quality. It would be nice if they had a light sensitive (transitions) option.

I do find it a bit absurd that Shuberth seems to be out of stock on various shades for months at a time. (Same thing with the other M1 accessories, not specific to Revzilla.)

Does this fit in the C3 Pro?
Omikron on Oct 16, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Sadly, no!
I purchased this hoping it would for the C3 pro, but it does not.
I sent schuberth an email asking if they intended to produce different darker visits and was not pleased with my reply. I use sunglasses that are much darker than this visor, and the reason that I bought a helmet like this was to not need to switch sunglassss or visors during a ride. I often ride at dusk and don't want to stop on the side of the road every day.
Basically, they offered to inspect my helmet and see if the 80% tint was correct... Very nice, but not wuite the point.
I'm not holding my breath for schuberth to make these for our helmets.
Does this fit the C3 helmet?
Curt P on Jul 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes. That's the helmet I have. Fit perfect. Went on easy.
Which one is 80% tint?
Robert P on May 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The 80% tint is dark smoke. The Blue Mirrored will provide the best protection/ resistance to sun glare. Best-Doc
