Puncturing your gas tank will certainly never end well. It could possibly cause your ride to burn to a crisp. Nobody has time for that. R&G Tank Sliders are designed to be mounted on the most protruding points on a tank, which are the most likely to hit the ground in a crash. The Tank Sliders are made from Carbon Fiber reinforced with DuPont Kevlar, and offer excellent crash protection and wear resistance.
