REV'IT Madison 2 Women’s Jeans

Ideal for a slim athletic build, the REVIT Madison 2 Women’s Jeans are designed for riders looking for the style and feel of their casual jeans with inconspicuous protection. Using 12.5oz Cordura denim, the REVIT Madison 2 Jeans maintain a lightweight single-layer construction while delivering abrasion resistance. 20% polyamide offers just a touch of stretch to allow for a form-flattering fit and flexibility in the riding position. Thin, soft CE-rated Seesmart protectors come standard at the knees and can be added in the hips to increase impact protection (sold separately) with the prepared pockets in the REVIT Madison Jeans. For the female rider seeking denim with a high-rise fit and low profile moto-protection, the REVIT Madison Women’s Jeans are the perfect fit.

Note: We have found adding 4" to the waist measurement in the sizing is a more accurate size range, ie, a 34x32 will have a 38" waist.

Fabulous protection and fit
The amount of information about the actual fit and application of protective riding jeans for women is scarce so I feel it is our duty to share whatever information we have! And thank you, Revzilla, for what you do because it is fabulous--just wish there was MORE ;).

I tried on a few pair of riding jeans locally (Alpinestars and Dianese was all I could find to try on within a couple of hours drive but the men's department had ALL the brands, of course) and ordered and returned a pair of Queenville before ordering and loving these.

Dianese were great-looking but didn't feel great--I have an athletic build with booty and thighs...pretty sure your typical super model would look and feel great in the Dianese but not me...wanted to love them but couldn't imagine riding in them.

The Alpinestars Daisy were a great fit and I liked them but when I looked up their actual protectiveness I was disappointed. They may have others that are super protective but the ones I had access to were not...

I ordered the Queenville after reading reviews and lots of comments about fitment...and how they were great for curvy girls. They fit but looked like mom jeans. Bad. I was disappointed. I could have probably gone down a size and they would have looked a little better but I got back on Revzilla and discovered the Madison 2--which weren't available when I started my search. I returned the Queenville (thank you Revzilla for being awesome) and ordered the Madison 2.

The color is awesome. Also my husband got the men's version and they are a slightly faded 'grayish' blue which I think is terrific as well. I love that they are a slimmer cut through the calf/ankle on the girls version, reflecting more current styling in streetwear. I wouldn't say they look just like my regular jeans but they definitely do not scream 'riding gear' either! I am able to layer my heated riding gear (which I also wear a thin underlayer under just to protect my skin from hot spots) and also wear my 'normal' fitting chaps over them so no accommodations have to be made for them.

I am not tall. I stand 5'3" and the knee pads are just below the knee walking around and at the knee in the riding position. Ideal for me but I could see where an exceptionally tall girl might need an adjustment. The knee pads are sized generously, though, so petite through average height women wouldn't need to worry at all--and I thought I saw there was a way to change the position of the knee pads for those lucky above average height ladies but I might be mistaken.

I wear mine inside my riding boots and I don't think I would be able to get the jeans over the boots. I'm not sure I could get them over even my most form-fitting fashion boots. I am athletically built, though, so if a girl had slimmer calves and boots she might be able to.

I am very happy with the waistline. It isn't a high waistline but it is NOT a low-rise either. I would describe it as mid-rise in the front and high in the back to accommodate a sport bike riding position. I ride a cruiser so it isn't as big a deal for me but I still appreciate the extra coverage (as my daughter says, 'crack kills'). I never have to ever worry about getting cold wind up my back. I am also happy these jeans do not flatten my rear like I have read some brands of riding jeans have a tendency to do. While protection is the most important feature we do still like to look and feel good too!

When I first tried these on the button was SO hard to get in and out of the button hole. It has broken in beautifully and I have also noticed that the jeans have kind of adopted the shape of my body so they are very comfy and fit perfectly.

I have not had the opportunity to wear them in hot weather so the air flow rating I gave is my best guess based on what I feel when riding without chaps. I have not worn them next to my skin, even, as I live and ride in CO and received these in November so at the very least I have had leggings underneath them. I have also worn them fully outfitted with heated gear and chaps.

I am very happy with the Rev-It Madison 2, as I have been with my Rev-It perforated gloves. It is becoming my go-to brand when looking for new gear.

Very happy!
I have been waiting for these jeans for like 2 months! As soon as Revzilla sent me the email that they were in stock I immediately ordered the gray pair in 30x32. I'm 5'6" 135#. These fit lower on your waist but they feel amazing! I always wear a belt anyways but seldom do people say-"look at those motorcycle pants!" They look like regular jeans but with SO much more in regards to protection. The knee armor is less obtrusive than the ones in my Dainese jeans. After a couple of days-I ordered the blue pair also. Very impressed with Rev' It's quality/fit and finish.

Finally a pair of jeans that fit
These were the 4th pair of riding jeans I had tried and I love the fit. They have just enough stretch to throw a leg over. They are slim, but not skinny jeans. You could wear the pants tucked in or out as long as your boots aren't to wide. They are not too high waisted on me. While in the riding position I don't feel like they are digging into my stomach. I'm 5'8 and 135lbs with 32 inseam. I ordered the 29x32 and they fit perfectly snug. Some of the other jeans I ordered made me look like I had a flat butt, not these they fit the curves nicely. I do have long legs so the bottom of the jeans hit my ankle.

The only reason I didn't give these pants 5 stars is because they don't have adjustable knee protection pockets. When i walk around the knee pads are in the right place and barely noticeable. When I get in the riding position they move up to my thigh. The bottom of the pad is just under my knee cap, so i have no shin protection. That's the trade off. I do love the fit of the jeans, so I'm sacrificing a little protection. They do have hip protection which other jeans do not.

Fit like regular jeans... Dirt Ripped open a knee
They fit great and look like regular jeans even with the knee and hip pads in.

However, I crashed on a dirt bike at a no more than 5 mph speed up a trail. The "jean" on the right knee opened up revealing the knee pad below. For a "street jean" I don't think I would want to actually crash on the pavement with these and whatever "reinforced Cordura fabric" thing it is.
Pretty much just comfy jeans with pad areas.

510/155, usually wear a 30/32 (Gap). Bought a 30/32. Perfect fit. They still gap a bit at my waist when I sit. Not sure there's a lot to be done about that (belt, maybe, but I've never found that helps). I think I'll rely on clipping jacket to belt loops to prevent cracking the world.
I took out the knee protectors and wore them for a day. I wanted to see how much the "relax", you know? Not much. Which is great. The fabric stays pretty firm, which may be something you'd have to get used to (thicker than a regular jean...protection etc), but it means they're not going to sag after a day of wear.
Then I put the knees back in and added the hip protectors. I was a little afraid I wouldn't get them up. Still perfect.
I'm not super curvy (sort of a slender base, with squishiness in parts), but I do have significant hip/thigh action and they fit just great. If I end up riding as much as I hope, I'll probably purchase the blue pair also.
I did think the inseam was a little short. Works for me as I plan to tuck them in (and I have short legs for a tall woman), but if you're long legged, that might be a factor. A 34 inseam option might be worth Rev'it to look into, but I don't think that's available at the moment.
Can't speak to airflow, as yet.
Overall, I'm pretty stoked on them. I have no idea how they stack up in the protection area. I hope I never have to find out. But the quality of the make, and the feel of them, gives me a sense of security that feels good.
If any of this changes, I'll try to update.

Great Riding Jean!
These are a great pair of riding jeans! I tried several different riding jeans until I came across these and I am so impressed. I am a curvy girl who is only 5'1" and typically wear a size 32-34 (10-12) jeans. I ordered a size 34 in these and they fit great. They are a little big in the waist, with a little bit of a gap in the waist, but not too bad. I went riding last weekend with these in 100 degree weather. Not great wind flow, but still very comfortable, especially with the amount of stretch in these in the riding position. I would certainly recommend these to anyone looking for a pair of comfortable riding jeans!

Sizing info
I am losing weight, so I was nervous and the sizing chart is unreadable, frankly. I wrote in, and it was suggested I buy my normal size, which is discouraged in the video. I got the 32/32. I am 5'5, and today I am 177 lbs. I carry my weight evenly and I have (ahem) large boobs. These fall about 1.5 inches below my belly button. Easy to put on and zip up. Th inseam is perfect and usually I am 31". In a riding position they will be fine. They were a bit more tapered at the ankle than I prefer and will most likely not fit over my boots which are on the thin side, leather.
The knee pads fall perfectly. They look like any other pair I would wear. The pockets are a bit smaller than I prefer, but no biggie there. I can tell within minutes that they will be HOT for me to wear. Better hot and safe. They do not sneak up the backside, nor do they create the dreaded camel toe.
If you are tall, use caution. I squatted down fully and had a small case of crack, and they bent out a tiny bit. On a bike, even a sport I think I will be fine. Mine is a cruiser, so again, no biggie.
Overall, I like them.

I really wanted to like these riding pants. They are cute and great protection for an affordable price. I like the knee protection and I was planning to buy the hip protectors when they are in stock. Sadly these jeans were way too loose and big. Im 5'6'' and I am 130 pounds. I had a kid so im slender but have a little pooch of loose skin on my belly lol and a little bit of hips. My butt is normal size id say, nothing too big nor small. I ordered a 29 and these were crazy big. I could put on leggings under these. They have potential to be cute if you can get the right size. I returned these and am still on the hunt for cute riding jeans that fit well and offer protection....if there is such a thing for women riders!

These have the potential to be awesome. I ordered the grey, and they are a nice color, very on trend. Soft, yet they feel very substantial. Knee armor is in the correct place when standing, albeit a little low. I think once on the bike, they will be in the perfect spot.

Styling is more of a skinny jean, with a medium rise.

For reference, I am 5'4" and 120 pounds. Based on the size chart, I ordered a 28 x 32, and they were HUGE. I normally wear a 26 jean, and I knew I should have gone with my gut and gotten my normal size. I'm returning these for a smaller size.

Can't speak to the air flow or comfort while riding, due to the sizing.

Great jeans
I really love the look and fit of these jeans. With the cordura/denim combo and the knee pads, I feel protected on my motorcycle (although I thankfully haven't tested them in a slide or crash). They stay cool even in the sun at 80 degrees and just look good, especially for a woman. They're mid rise and perfectly cover my backside, no worries about flashing someone
