Great gloves
These are great gloves. Best for temperatures from upper 50s to 70. Comfortable. Sadly, I am going to have to spend the money to buy a second pair since I low sided on the highway going 60+ miles per hour while wearing them. Photo attached. The stitching came apart on the index finger but that was about it. No abrasions to my hands. I did sprain my thumb but that's not something gloves could have prevented. (ATGATT saved me! No serious injuries. I rode the bike 2 hours to home after the crash. Wearing Revit Gore-tex pants and Dainese Zima Gore-Tex Jacket.)

Wonky knuckle protection
I experienced the same issue described in an earlier review. The knuckle protector is either shifted towards the pinky, or too small. Or both. My index knuckle rubs on the very edge of the protector which is uncomfortable when in a grip position. I really wanted to like these gloves. Rev'It gear looks slick but I have had really bad luck with the quality of their products. Thankfully this time I don't have to deal with them directly.

Overall great waterproof gloves
Overall impressions:
These gloves look great and offer great protection from both impact/abrasion as well as the occasional rainstorm. I've taken a couple spills in the dirt with them and they are holding up great. The impact areas had some scuff marks but no signs of seams coming apart or anything like that.

Fit:
They run quite small. I generally wear an XL in most gloves and these I had to bump up to a XXXL. They do fit nicely though once you find your size. A lot of people complain about the knuckle protector and while I see what they are talking about, it hasn't bothered my hands at all. Aesthetically I wish they would fix it, but I don't notice it all while riding.

Weather resistance:
I have only had these gloves in a few light rain situations and I have bark busters on my F800gs so take that for what it's worth. But they did keep my hands perfectly dry. They aren't insulated which is a plus for me. I can wear them down to ~45 degrees F before I turn the grip heat on, and down to about 25 degrees F with heat. On the other end of the spectrum, they start getting a bit hot above 80 F. They do have a gortex membrane so they do breathe but I have another pair of gloves I switch to when it's hot.

Nice looking glove but serious durability issues.
I purchased these gloves a month ago. They didn't make it through one 5,000 mile trip before the stitching started to disintegrate. No falls or abnormal wear just normal riding. For a glove of this price level I would have expected much better longevity. Waiting to see if there is any kind of warranty coverage.

Expensive but worth it
Have only had these gloves a short time, so this review is based on limited experience.

These gloves are at the top end of the price range, but are very well built. The new closure system works very well and the protection is in all the right places without being obtrusive.

Was looking for a complement to my Rev'it Dirt gloves for warm weather. Love the Dirt gloves for hot weather, but needed something for cool/wet weather. Between these two pairs of gloves, 90% of my riding weather is covered. With the Gore-Tex layer, they don't actually "flow" air, so your hands stay warm in cool/wet weather, but breathe well enough for warmer weather. For really hot weather (90F+), staying dry isn't a concern so the Dirt gloves would be my choice then, even in the rain.

Same slightly small fit as the Dirt gloves, so I got size XL and they fit as expected.

Good gloves for enduro
Got these gloves for off roading. Instantly very comfortable to wear, water proof, though have not been in downpour yet. Have a unique wrist system. They are a short glove, and will need to wear the sleeve over, ok for enduro, may not fair well in hard rain, leakage around wrist, I don't know yet. Have a Klim jacket that should work well with these. All in, I like the glove, comfort and protection. Five stars if the glove was a bit longer

Quality Glove but knuckle protector has some issues
Great style and construction. Visor wipe even better than HELD gloves. Will have to return though as the Knuckle protector is too off center toward the pinky finger and barely covers the index knuckle Wasn't comfortable with hands on the grips.

Great gloves!! Nice fit, Lots of Protection and Quality Contruction
Buying riding apparel online can be a challenge and tedious because of fit and quality issues. In choosing these gloves, I depended a great deal on Revzilla's review for the fit and the consistency of the customer reviews on a number of websites for the quality issues.

I must say that I am very impressed with the quality and features of these gloves. The fit is spot on and the quality of construction is outstanding. I usually wear an extra large in most European gloves, like Alpinestars and Dainese and a large in most American brands. Anthony is spot on about Rev-it's move to more American glove sizing. I got the large and it is just right.

Some of the reviews noted placement of the knuckle protector to be off or that it is too small. On the gloves I received, it is just right. One thing, the exterior of it is metal and is painted black and will scratch, but a minor issue.

Concerning cold weather use, these gloves will probably be fine down to about 35-40 degrees. I wore them at about 45-50 degrees today and they were nice and warm. I do have hand protectors , but my hands were just fine with the gloves at these temps. Makes me think they may actually be a little hot for summer use. I would probably switch to mesh gloves for the summer anyway.

All in all, these are very nice gloves (should be for the price), well made, good fit and good protection.

Handles Rain and Fall Temps Perfectly.
This is a short term review. I've only had the gloves for less than a week, but found some good opportunities to test them. It's fall in Houston, which means varying temps from 40's-70's and rain.

Here's a quick synopsis.

Likes:
I had them down to 48 degrees and rain on my ride to work today. Normally in my A'stars gloves grip heat is on by 55F. I didn't even need grip heat... and that's moving 80ish mph on slab for 20 mins.

They are certainly waterproof and warm. I would however think twice about wearing these above 65-70F.

They will serve as a great fall-spring glove.

Protection is great. Looks like a lot of thought went into the thumb and palm protection... The knuckle protection looks good, but it's a little off center or too small, like the other reviews said.

Dislikes:

They're a little stiff. I assume they'll need some breaking in.

They do run a size large. Normally an XL in A'stars gear and wearing a Large here. The glove fits great except for the thumb is exceptionally long. I'll live.

The knuckle protector is off center. Some complained about the index finger knuckle rubbing the edge of the protector. While I can "feel" the edge with a balled-up fist, it's not noticeable in the grips. Also I would not be concerned about the protection standpoint of the protector being slightly off position. You're still covered by the plastic/metal, it's just under the leather.

All in all, I recommend this product highly. Yes, the cost is steep and it's my first Rev'it gear. For the price I would expect a little further attention to detail, but I'll live with it. Still a great product!

A protective waterproof glove. Over the past year I have worn these in temperatures over 90 down to about 30 degrees (with heated grips) Fahrenheit. The ideal range is between 45 and 85 degrees. My hands have never gotten wet. After a year the gloves are still in good condition. A short break in period is required.

I needed a waterproof and lightly insulated glove and previously bought the Cayenne Pro Gloves and they are amazing in fit, protection and comfort. Figured these would be of equal standards and they are. I also really wanted a glove with a shield wiper in the finger.

Great explanation from your video.
Comfort, protection and several features.
A glove needs to let you feel all the controls and be sofisticated but no too stiff. \
This one seems very confortable.

I'm interested in this glove but I have a couple of questions. I commute daily in MI from spring to fall so I'm looking for a glove that's a bit cooler in the warmer weather. Does this glove work well in warmer weather? Also, one problem I've always had when putting on waterproof gloves in the wet, is that the liner is a factor. IOW, you insert your slightly wet, moist hand into the glove and the liner sticks to your hand making it very hard to get the glove on. Does this glove have the same issue?

Will these gloves fit under an ignition 2 jacket?
Jeffrey C on Feb 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I don't have that jacket, so I don't know. I wear a Patagonia windstopper with Velcro wrist closures and they just fit. Love the gloves!
Does this glove have a touch screen compatible finger tip?
APK59 on Oct 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: They do not.
For adventure riding in Himalayas in November what would provide all the protection of this glove but be warmer?
Christopher G on Aug 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Heated grips? Honestly no idea about the Himalayas, or any types of warmer gloves, I just know my hands go numb in these things at highway speeds for anything longer than 20-30 min. at sub 40F. Otherwise they do fit like a, well, you know what and seem provide outstanding protection.
Do all of the gloves have the exact same size knuckle protector or are there larger hard parts for larger sizes? I plan to get a size XXL but have read other reviews complaining about the knuckle protector not covering the index knuckle and digging in. Will this problem be worse on the larger glove sizes?
Rourke b on Nov 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I can not attest to a XXL size as I purchased the SM size but I can tell you that because the knuckle protector is made of metal it is slightly bendable. I had to bend mine slightly to keep from digging in. You do want to do it by hand force only and in very subtle amounts as I could see that with over flexing it could start to crack the metal.
Anthony mentions that they are gore plus grip. Is gore plus grip the same as gore xtrafit? Do these gloves provide the same tactile feel as gloves that have gore xtrafit?
Thang T on Mar 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: i don't know what gore extrafit is but these gloves to me give excellent tactile feel when on the controls.
Can someone tell me where this glove is made?
Joshua P on Nov 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The label says Made in China. I've used the gloves for nearly a year and have been very happy with the purchase.
