Renthal Ultralight Rear Street Sprockets are CNC machined from the same 7075 T6 aluminum alloy Renthal uses for their extremely popular off road chainwheels. To ensure the lightweight aluminum sprocket is able to withstand the rigors of street and track use, each sprocket receives a special hard anodizing to significantly increased hardness and wear resistance. An ultralight chainwheel means less unsprung weight and rotating mass, which results in quicker acceleration, quicker turn-in and better corner grip.
