Economy Front Stand
I bought this Oxford Front Stand and it's Rear Stand counterpart for my interim newbie bike. It got the job done on my sub 250lb bike but I wouldn't at all trust it with anything heavier/bigger or more expensive. The product consists of three shaped steel pipes which are secured to eachother via precut holes, bolts and nuts. The wheels are thick plastic and although there is four of them they are not nearly as sturdy as I expected. You get what you pay for and I'm honestly content with my purchase but do consider scraping out the extra money for a higher-end stand if you're an experienced serious rider.

It works, mostly...
I used this on my FZ-09. It gets the job done. It lifted the front wheel off the ground, just barely, and I as able to remove the front wheel. The bike was plenty stable on the stand. However putting the wheel back on was a bit difficult. The way it was supporting the front fork slightly blocked the hole of the axle. I had to lift one end up slightly with a jack to get the axle back in, which was a bit precarious, and figuring out how to do this added a lot of time to me job.

All in all it works, but if you can afford a stand that uses a pin under the triple clamp, I think it is a much better way to go.

Will this work on a 2012 fz6r?

BEST ANSWER: Just by looking at the bike, it should work. It looks just like the front end of my bike and I don't see that you will have a problem.
