Drag Specialties Center Jack Scissor Lift Stand

This compact scissor jack is perfect for lifting motorcycles for service or cleaning. The large footprint makes it stable and the sturdy construction makes it strong enough to lift most motorcycles. A durable rubber pad protects the motorcycle and prevents slipping when raising or lowering the jack. The heat-treated hex drive and worm gear allows for precise height adjustment.

Features:

  • Weight capacity: 1,000 lbs
  • Wide deck measures: 15 1/4" length x 9" width
  • Narrow deck measures: 15" length x 5" width
  • Maximum raised height: 14 1/2"
  • Fully lowered height: 3 1/2"
  • Uses a 15/16" socket or wrench to raise and lower

Note: Do not use air or electric impact gun to raise or lower jack. Always securely strap bike down.

Great jack
The wide one lifts a Sportster Roadster and a loaded down Street Glide with equal levels of ease. The rubber mat does seem to be somewhat loose already after fairly minor use, but that's easy enough to fix. It's held up better than my hydraulic lift did. That thing slowly dropped since day one and never held the bike level. This one has always performed beautifully (once I ditched the super low ride height of the previous owner anyway).

Would be great if they were a bit cheaper. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a second for nice stable lifting of the entire bike. Kind of a fiddly balancing experiment to do it with one jack (though it can be done, even with the big Street Glide).

Yup, it's a lift.
It lifted my bike (Sportster) and it didn't collapse...so that's good.

Seems decent
I have nothing to compare this lift to since it is my first but it is adequate enough to raise my HD XL1200V for me to switch the shocks.

The bolt is 15/16 to raise and lower the lift.

Solid and sturdy. Secure bike from tipping and use caution balancing and shimming to protect any backerts, mounting tabs or hydraulic lines when lifting

After looking at the lifts at harbor freight I decided on buying this instead. This lift looks to be a bit more adequate.

Is this for harley and metric cruisers?
A shopper on May 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This is a 1000 lb lift. It doesn't care what you slide it under.
What locking mechanism is used to keep it in the up position?
How much force is required to turn the worm gear?
A shopper on Mar 16, 2015
BEST ANSWER: There is no actual locking mechanism. The tension of the worm gear and the way it is designed keeps it where you leave it. I had my bike on it for a week and it didn't move an inch. I don't know exactly how much force is required to turn the worm gear but I can do it with one hand using a 9" long ratchet while the bike is on it. I am very happy with the function and quality of this lift.
Can I use this to lift both front and back wheels for tire cleaning? If yes, what is the weight capapcity it can lift; my Victory bike is 700 lbs.
A C on Jul 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The description says 1000 lbs max load
I have a kawasaki zzr 1200. I am trying to figure out how this stand would get under my bike than have the cabaility to lift it. Is it good to change tires on?
Chris C on Jul 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The jack is 3 1/4" when collapsed. It is rated at 1000 lbs. if your bike fits this it will work well. The only concern would be stabilizing the bike so it does not tip over.
How is it recommended to secure the bike to the lift?
