Clean Look
I bought this instead of a back pack. Didn't want something to constrict me. Real clean look when you install it with just the rear seat. Use it to carry my lunch in to and from work. Plenty of space. Haven't had the need to expand it yet. When you do expand it, its HUMONGOUS! Expect it to be good for a two/three day journey.

Just what I was looking for...
I have an old bike with a very narrow seat. I was using my Cortech Sport 2.0 but it was too wide for my 1986 Yamaha SRX-600. I was able to mount this under the passenger seat, no problem. Fits my full face helmet plus extras (gloves, rainsuit which I stuff in my helmet.) I'm sure capacity of this is good for 3-4 days worth of clothes and toiletries. I plan to replace the nylon straps with Velcro straps and triglides so I can remove the bag without taking off the seat. Having the strap adjustment under the seat is simply unacceptable, really. This method will allow me to adjust the tension of all four straps without removing the seat. The Velcro will hold tighter than these nylon straps. Easy fix. I also think the interior divider is just a stupid waste of space. But the bag itself is awesome and the rain cover is very nice. It has very strong elastic and a zipper to expand it to full size!

Great bag for a weekend trip. Easy to install. Good quality
Great high quality bag that's easy to install. Perfect for throwing a few items for a day trip. It's bigger than I thought when expanded. It's large enough for a weekend trip. It easily fits sneakers, two days worth of clothes, and overnight bathroom bag. Very easy to install. I loop the straps in the subframe underneath my rear seat. When I'm not using the bag, it's easy to tuck away the straps. It costs more than it should, but it's well made and high quality.

A couple of nitpicks:

* there's no really good way to tuck away the excess strap once it's tightened down. The elastic web loops are hard to use. So I end up just tucking in the excess between the bag and the seat.

* would liked to have the rain bag integrated. It takes up a decent amount of space when you're not using it. It would be nice to tuck away.

Works great on my 2016 BMW R1200RS!
I just received this tail bag and installed it using only three of the four straps included. My RS has the luggage rack and the mounting hardware for the BMW hard bags which made it a very simple affair to secure this bag. I packed it full of soft stuff I have in my garage and once the straps are cinched down this bag does not move. The rain cover is, like all bags with rain covers, cumbersome but adequate. I'm off for a 2 week trip from L.A. to Oregon and I'll post a long distance evaluation when I get back. Over all a nice bag, but it wouldn't work on the RS if I wanted to bring a passenger...takes up too much space on the rear seat. With my tank bag, hard bags, and this puppy, I can carry a lot of gear while touring!

Adequate
I got this tail bag for my 2015 bmw GS. it works just fine...Looks pretty good... I had to jerry-rig it so that the straps didn't interfere with the way my pinion clipped on, as the straps run under the pinion seat. Mostly what I don't like about this bag is the flap and the large inside zip up compartment it has... If you don't have it zipped all the ingredients dump out, when you shut the bag... it's hard to explain, but it's just not how I would have designed it. I would have preferred a few snug zippering pouches on the outside of the bag. Instead of one massive one under the flap, where are your stuff pools up in a big slouch at the bottom of the inside flap.

Compliments
It was an excellent buy. I already had the CL-1060S bag and wanted the CL-1060ST Sport Touring bag. Now I have two sizes that will suit me in all my needs. Nelson Rigg bags are exceptional in every way. All my comments are summarized in praise for this brand products. Congratulations. I'm super satisfied. Thank you.

Backpack Replacement
I was looking for a saddle bag to replace my heavy backpack due to shoulder soreness and flexibility. This was the only bag that kept it's styling simple but modern at the same time. The bag is big enough for a helmet but it does zip down to size for a laptop/ipad/coffee mug/bike lock and a bunch of misc stuff in the mesh compartment...all stuff I take with me on my commute. The straps are is easy to locate. The excess strap was taken care of with a zip tie. This bag is slightly bigger than a backpack. I was able to purchase this bag under $100 bucks with Rezilla Bucks and their price match. You cant go wrong buying your motogear here!

Nice Commuter / Light Touring Tail Bag
Nice tail bag. I installed it on my 04 SV650, which I use mostly for commuting. Installation was a breeze- took off the pillion seat, strapped the two straps around it, and put it back on. For added security I used the third strap and looped it around the front hook and then through the passenger grab bar and around the bag.

It does fit my helmet with the expansion zipper opened up, although the zipper just barely closes and the bag bulges a bit (size XL helmet). There is a mesh pocket that can be used for items like documents or sunglasses.

I highly recommend this. Even comes with waterproof cover.
