Reviews & Questions
It's a nice windscreen, about 2 inches taller than the stock. I would have to say it reduced the turbulence but did not get rid of it. Perhaps the larger touring version will get rid of it, but who knows. With the stock windscreen you got pounded a lot on the chest and up with the windscreen in the top position. With this one, the turbulence is raised to just around the tip of my shoulders and up. So my helmet still has full turbulence, but my chest and most of my shoulders are not. It helps a lot, but not as much as I had hoped for, especially going by their claims. But the touring version is 4 inches larger than the stock so perhaps that's the model that they were touting as removing all turbulence and not this one?
All in all, I still like it a lot more than the stock version, i'll just have to see about getting the touring version for colder months since this won't provide any protection at all during the cold, which was the main reason I wanted to upgrade my windscreen. But for spring, summer and fall, the sport tour version will be just fine.
