Comfortable in all kinds of weather!
I commute on my Bonneville T100 75 miles round trip most days - rain, shine, extremes from 105 down to 16 degrees. I've had the Mustang seat on my Bonneville just over a year and not only is it comfortable but it holds up to rain, sun, and sitting for 8-12 hours a day in the parking lot exposed to the weather. There are no wrinkles, cracks anything that would show any wear or negative impact of the elements. At 5' 8", the handling is improved because of the thinner profile and the slightly shorter height. My feet are now firmly planted at stop lights rather than just the pads of my feet touching. All in all this has been an excellent addition to my Bonneville.

Nice seat, comfortable from the get-go
I put this seat on a 2012 T100. Rode about 1500 mi. over period of 3 days -- comfortable right off. No hot spots. Little more aggressive position than the Scrambler solo seat, so that took a little getting used to. No windscreen, so leaning a little more forward actually more comfortable at higher speeds. Really good value -- Triumph OEM seats are about $100 more.

Much better than stock
2013 Bonneville T-100. The stock seat looked nice, but was miserable after an hour or so. The Mustang seat is so much better for my and wife and I. It puts me a little farther back than I'd like, but I just need to put a set of risers on the bars to get them where I want.

Way better than the stock seat
I love the way this seat feels and the way it looks on my semi-cafe racer Bonneville T100. I also suspect it will look good if I ever decide to revert back to a more "traditional" bike configuration. I've gone on long joy rides through the Santa Cruz mountains with my new seat and my butt has yet to get sore. Overall, I think I made a good choice on this one.

Comfortable Option for the T-100
Bought this to replace the original T-100 seat. Much more comfortable. It looks good on the bike. I had to widen the seat mounting holes with a file to get the mounting bolts to go through. about 5 minutes later its in place. Much easier to actually fit on and off the bike than the original seat.

Scrambler Touring Seat
I've been piling miles on my '13 Scrambler since I picked it up last July. As other owners know, the "Ironing Board" leaves a lot to be desired, and the solo seat isn't all the much better. After about 2 hours on the Solo seat I was pretty much done.

I spent 11 hours on the Scram with this new Mustang seat last weekend. I can definitely say is makes a world of difference. I truly didn't notice any hot spots until I was into hour number 8 or 9; at which point all I needed to do was scoot toward the back of the seat where it's "dished" a bit more near the pillion pad and I was good to go for a few more hours. This seat is comfortable for the long haul, but still lets you "hang-off" the bike in the twisties. I would definitely recommend this seat to any Triumph 865 Twin owners that like to tour on their Bonnie.

Triumph Upgrade
I bought this seat as an upgrade for the stock seat and I have been very happy with it. Installation was a breeze, and the new seat is quite a bit comfier on the long haul and still keeps the classic look. My wife is the biggest fan of this seat, saying that it is much better then the pillion on the stock seat. I'd say this is still not a perfect seat, can still get all bit uncomfortable on 3+ hour rides, but it does keep the original styling which is very important to me.

Beware on your size!!
You need to measure your needs very carefully - I am 5'8" 150 and this seat in no possible way fits me. It is harder than stock, it is too wide, the "cup" of the seating throws me way too far back, and the crotch rise is too extreme for comfort. Maybe it you are over 6' and 220 it will fit but for me it was a very bad fit.

Using Scrambler seat on 2012 Triumph T100. Good seat, but has some hot spots after a few hundred miles. Passenger portion works well with Saddleman Tunnel bag.

Does this come in brown?
A shopper on Apr 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Great question! I also would love it if this came in brown
Will this seat work with the Triumph backrest/grab bars?
A shopper on Dec 2, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I don't have grab bars or a back rest on my 2012 T100, but the mustang seat sits in the exact same place as the stock seat. I still have the same access to the seat screws and the seat frame as I did when the stock seat was on.
Can you get this seat in brown?

A shopper on Mar 20, 2017
Would the shape of this seat help a shorter rider get both feet on the ground?
ERIK K on Sep 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Actually, there's a good possibility it will. The Mustang seat is a bit more narrow at the front than the Triumph Solo Seat, and it also sits lower at the "back". If I sat on the back of the solo seat my feet could not touch the ground, however that is not the case with this Mustang Touring seat.
Will this seat fit the new Bonneville Street Twin? And will it lower the seat height at all?
Martha R on Aug 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes it should as Triumph didnt change the spec as far as i know. It fit my bike which is a 07 t100. As far as lowering it yes you as the driver will sit a bit lower compared to the passenger. As far as how much of a height difference it makes i couldnt answer to that as im tall and dont have that issue i just wanted a comfier seat for longer trips which it is.
