Necessary for MRA windshields.
This was necessary for the MRA windshield that i purchased. It was a breeze to install to both the windshield and the bike itself. It's fairly flexible to allow you a multitude of positions to get the angling that you prefer. Looks good, no signs of wear and I'm a daily rider in Miami. Humidity was a worry of mine that so far has not proven to be an issue.

Worked for my needs
I found a official Buell windscreen for my wife's Buell Blast, standard it only has a headlight fairing, on eBay. However, it did not come with the mounting hardware. Dealer parts are very hard to find for Buells, so I decided to give this mounting brackets a try. They worked perfectly. Very easy to install and don't look out of place. My wife is very happy to have the windscreen secured and is ready to start adventuring out more and more.

Not recommended for a Ducati HyperMotard 08
Beware if you are buying it because there is absolutely no room to use this mount. I removed the brake fluid mount to try and fit this but it just does not work.
If you have a Ducati, you can buy the Ducati bike specific mount for an MRA windscreen here:

Easy, Great Price, Worth it.
My only issue is the look, obviously it looks a little out of place on a nice clean bike but it works great easy to install and use and absolutely worth it. Great Price and delivery quick.

Easy once you do it.
I have used these kits before and that's why I like them. Very well thought out and adjustable for many angles and distances from bars. Bravo! A bit pricy for what it is, but unless you are fabricating your own, they will do.

Works as advertised
The instructions tell you exactly what you need to get the mounts and windscreen installed. The windscreen barely moves at the highest legal speeds this is s great option.

Not the fault of the manufacturer, but it must have been a return, the bags were broke open and parts loose in the shipping box. Was all there and it worked fine for the install. Was worried at first but found milling parts under box flaps.

Highly adjustable but tight fit for clamps on stock bars
I used the longer version of this kit with the MRA Speed Screen on my 919, and am pretty pleased with the results. Functionally, the ball mounts are highly adaptable to basically any angle and positioning of the clamps on your bars. While not overly complicated, the cutaway diagram was more useful for the attaching the kit than the instructions. I was concerned the plastic construction of the bar clamps and ball joints would be flimsy, but they're quite solid and seem to be higher-than-average quality for your typical plastic parts. The only drawbacks are that some bikes don't have too many options on where you mount the clamps on the handlebars, and clearances with things like your master cylinder or clutch lever might be a little tight.

If you have a tighter-clearance windscreen (such as the Speed Screen), I would recommend to loosely fit the windscreen and mounting kit, adjust in the screen in place, tighten the bar clamps, then take the screen off and finish tightening the ball joints. After that re-attach the screen for good. It will be difficult to get a hex key in to tighten the ball joints once the screen is in place.

Finally, Revzilla says this kit (MRA HK) is what is spec'd for the 919. According to the manufacturer, you will need the MRA HKSL 260mm kit. Revzilla sells this as the MRA mouting kit for the SV650. The manufacturer is right. If you have a 919 (aka Hornet 900) with stock bars the HK regular kit will be a little too short and the windscreen won't clear the gauge pod.

Will these work on my factory windshield on triumph bonneville america? I need top brackets. And I'd like to get some that mount to handlebars
A shopper on Nov 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I purchased these to run an mra windscreen on my triumph street twin, works fine and is adjustable so I imagine it should work.
Hello, I'm looking for a screen for my naked bike that I can take on and off fairly easily for touring. Does this mounting kit really
have only two mounting points? Would it be easy to swap in and out? Thanks
A S on Oct 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes there are only 2 mounting points. They are a double swivel for the screen rod witch is mounted to the screen by ball and socket. This double swivel clamps to your bars. This configuration allows for total adjustability for clamp placement and screen location, angle, height etc.

Hope this helps
