Moto-Skiveez Cruiser Skiveez Riding Shorts

Intended for the rider positioned with feet in front of seat contact. This universal design is intended for long days in the saddle on today’s cruiser style bikes. However, this design works well with all motorcycle positions as well being a great option for passenger riders.

The Moto-Skiveez pad for the cruiser riding style is comprised of five layers; a base layer of malinga cloth, three different foam densities, and a top covering infused with silver ions to inhibit bacterial and fungal formation. It is manufactured with the firmest foam molded into an elliptical shape under the tail bone area and the left and right pelvic bones.

The front of the pad is contoured to extend forward on both sides in half-elliptical protrusions to fit under the bottom of the legs. With more pressure on the tailbone area due to the legs being forward, this pad shifts pressure adsorption from the inner thigh to the center of the butt and lower thighs. Also this pad is contoured to add comfort across the entire seating area. Because of this, this design serves as a universal comfort garment. It performs quite well for passenger riders as well as ATV riders.

Features:

  • Surface fabric infused with silver ions for permanent antimicrobial, antibacterial treatment
  • 4mm square perforated foam throughout
  • 3mm open cell foam in left and right sections main body
  • 6mm reticulated high density foam positioned in pelvic and tail bones

Great Increase in Comfort!
These shorts really work, and they work really well! The cruiser Moto-Skiveez made my ride much more enjoyable and I can go much further with comfort and no hot spots! No need for me to look at having my seat rebuilt or buying another seat. These shorts do the trick!

Enhances comfort.
If your saddle isn't comfortable, these are not going to help much.

That said, if your issues are developing discomfort after a while in the saddle, these might help. While my bike has a very well designed seat, over time I'd get hot spots and sweat. Both of which would cause discomfort.

For the longer rides I've used these, I've had no more issues with hot spotting or moisture. Absolutely was the final needed piece.

At first, you can feel the pad, but that goes away fairly quickly. It isn't all that thick and it does hug fairly well. The lack of seams and good wicking keep things dry. Used to need a shot of powder to keep things from getting sweaty and chafe, but with these I don't.

Don't use them on every ride, but if I'm facing an hour or more in the saddle at a time, I put 'em on.

Not had any issues washing and drying them. Even when I need to wash in a sink, they are dry in a couple hours. Ready to go when you are.

Try a pair.

Comfortable, pads could go higher on rear and less pad on tailbone.
I have an issue with tailbone pain not only on the motorcycle but also in airplanes. I found the Moto-Skiveez Cruiser's did add more comfort in the saddle. I rode 250 miles one way recently and I could go over an hour, before stopping and before I was feeling it after 45 minutes.

With the tailbone issue there is a pad over the tailbone and for me it would be better to have this area open, or the pad on either side to be twice as thick.

When off the bike I did find them hot. On the bike I had no issue.

They did improve the ride comfort.

Longer Rides.....
These shorts are definitely worth the price. Before I had them, I would start to get sore after 45 minutes of riding. In addition, if I went for a ride of 2 hours or more, I would be sore after getting off the bike for a couple of hours at home. After using these shorts, the discomfort is minimized and the recovery time after getting off the cycle at the end of the day is 15-20 minutes. In my mind, a huge improvement. The shorts don't completely eliminate all discomfort but they allow for longer rides and faster recovery times. They are comfortable to wear and the quality of construction is great. I would recommend them to anyone!

Mostly worth the purchase, expensive
They keep you cool, are comfortable, and they do let you ride longer than if you went without. Seems a little weird wearing a pad on your butt but its really not noticeable through jeans.

I'd buy more pairs but they're too expensive - should be $10-15 less and I'd buy a couple more.

Great comfort upgrade for cruiser riding
I already own a pair of sport-bike type Moto-Skiveez, so I knew what to expect when I ordered these for riding my new maxi-scooter, which has cruiser ergos (you lean back, feet way forward, all weight on your seat). As I expected, the cruiser Moto-Skiveez did the trick. They provide an instantly noticeable comfort upgrade, they double your mileage, and as always they're easy to put on and take off and they wick all moisture away so you don't notice an increase in heat. Highly recommended by me.

Super Wedgie!
Not sure what I expected... but what I didn't expect was a super wedgie when you try to walk. I know you don't buy this to walk around in. But at some point you are going to "get there" and have to get off the bike. At that point you won't want to be around anyone that doesn't mind you constantly reaching down and pulling the pad out of your hind quarters. Does it do what it's supposed to? Well, it helps... but don't mistake it for being nearly as good as a pad placed on the seat (I use the Airhawk R). I'll use it for my cross country runs (12+ hours in the seat). But short of an all day (and I mean all day) run, it'll stay in the closet.

This product helps with the uncomfortable tired butt when you are riding long distances .
They fit snug but don't cut off any circulation.
I will be buying several more pairs .
