Memphis Shades used a specialized software called Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to evaluate air flow around 3-D shapes and analyzed hundreds of variations before prototypes were tested in real-world riding conditions. The unique flipped-up stance of the Spoiler Windshield was designed to deflect wind turbulence from the rider and to eliminate buffeting at highway speeds.

What does this mean for you? It means you can run a shorter Spoiler Windshield than you could if you used a regular, non-compound curved windshield. You can have a cool, sleek boulevard look with a low, tinted 'shield that still offers the same - or better - protection from the wind than a windshield several inches taller.
