This harness may not look exciting, but it allows a rider to do something super-useful - run passing lamps and high beams simultaneously! The MoCo sends bikes out wired such that the passing lamps are automatically disabled when the high beam is used. This harness allows power to flow to the spotlights during high-beam use without cutting your factory wiring harness.

OK, instructions are confusing.
Well made product with factory type connectors and an inline 10 amp mini fuse for protection.
If you have no fender tip light then the instructions will confuse because you will have one empty socket/connector remaining from this harness when done.
To make instructions easier: connect this harness into the BLACK plastic mating connector behind headlight. Then disconnect the yellow wire that feeds the driving light switch behind the headlight. Everything is done inside the head light bucket That yellow switch wire that was disconnected has a simple push barrel type connector. Connect red harness wire to that connector that feeds the switch. If you do not like cutting then use a posi-lock connector. If you have no fender tip light then one of the harness connectors will remain empty. Again, the harness will have one unused connector. You can do the same or similar without this harness if you just get a water resistant blade fuse holder and tap from the yellow wire described to the orange wire behind the headlight or the yellow line described to the line that goes to fender tip light inside the light bucket.

Save your money
Use your own wire to cut and splice, because you'll have to do it anyway. This is not a plug and play kit. They say you may have to modify your harness. What they should say is you will have to. Waste of good money

I tried this on my 2014 RoadKing but the plugs don't match, plus my Roadking does not have a fendertip light? it says it does work on the 2014 Roadking, how?

BEST ANSWER: The provided instructions left me confused too.
From memory:
The flip switch for lamp control needs to be rewired.
The switch in chrome housing that looks just like the acc switch.
The yellow supply wire that feeds the switch has a tube like plastic connector.
Disconnect that connector.
The red wire with black tip from the kit needs to be connected to that yellow going to the switch.
It may require a cut /splice to attach as was required in my case (not plug and play)
The other disconnected wire will no longer be used .
**My guess by you mentioning the plugs do not match is that the kit red wire plug does not match the bike switch tube like plug.
That happened to me as mention above and it required a splice...
I do not like cutting so i used something called a "posi lock " connector.
You will then look for a rectangle male/female connector inside nacelle.
It will have grey wires. It feeds the lights.
It will match one side of kit.
Disconnect that connector on bike and plug your unit into one side of it only.
You will be left with an unused connector in the kit.
The kit causes the lights to use the acc. circuit for power instead of the light circuit.
