Perfect!!
I loaned my first balaclava to one of my sons this spring and haven't seen it since. So I had been looking for one that had thin material on top (so it would have a comfortable fit in my helmet) with the balance made out of heavier fleece for warmth. The seam location and was also important since I didn't want a clump on top of my head. This was perfect. And it is easier to fasten my helmet chin strap with this one since the balaclava doesn't bunch up at the chin. Cold? I've ridden in 24F so far without problem. It's great!! Losing my first one was a blessing in disguise.

Works Great!
This thing works great. Living in SE Texas our winters don't get very cold compared to the rest of the nation, but so far I have rode in sub-freezing temp (low to mid 20's), I only use it for riding in anything less than about 50 degrees. It protects well I don't get anything excess air flow around my neck, and it's pretty dang comfortable. My only complaint is that the balaclava has a tendency to push my glass forward. Other than that bit of awkwardness it would receive 5 stars on comfort.
