Eclipse uses a unique, proprietary process that incorporates multi-step polishing to create a smooth surface, a multiple-pass cleaning treatment and then three layers of nickel-plating for improved adhesion and corrosion resistance. Then they apply a gleaming layer of proprietary, high temperature black chrome. You have to see it to believe it.
