If you've got a Rushmore bike, you're in for an auditory treat. Hogtunes custom-designed these speakers - as they do with all their products - specifically for the Rushmore Touring bikes. Specifically, the new Rushmore fairings have speaker cabinets with really small air chamber. Most "motorcycle" speakers are just re-cooked car speakers that are designed to work in much larger cabinets like a car door or trunk. These are direct-fit, plug-and-play replacement units that don't require cutting, grinding, filing, or modification to fit.

Features:

• Inverted surround so the speaker does not make contact with the inner fairing when operating
• Titanium dome tweeters give great clarity, even at highway speeds
• Silver speaker cone looks different that stock, but is not emblazoned with any company logos
• Use supplied metal mesh grilles or the factory cloth grilles
• Self-locking clips for factory front speaker wires
• 6 1/2" diameter - 2 Ohm speakers
• Rear speaker uses a neodymium magnet so speakers fit in the factory pods
• Speakers are pre-drilled with a 'locator peg' hole to orient the speakers correctly - Hogtunes models do not require you to remove the locator peg on the bike
• The speaker is designed with a multi-port vented magnet which moves air into the speaker to cool vital internal parts - when the speaker evacuates the air, only hot air leaves, and this cooling effectively doubles the speaker's ability to handle power
