Anthony, you're wrong!
I do not agree with Anthony's recommendation of going up one size. Nor do I agree this helmet is only good for full tuck or 3/4 tuck riding. This helmet does fit snug, but I suggest going with the size chart provided by HJC. I also ride a bike that is fully upright (Kawi Versys 1000) and this helmet feels extremely well ventilated. My guess would be you would have even more ventilation on a super sport in the tuck position.
I bought the solid white because I wanted every advantage I can have to beat the heat. I live in Southeast Louisiana and it is extremely hot and humid for six months of the year. I normally have to ride with my visor cracked but not with this helmet! My ride today was in 85 degrees temputures with a heat index of about 98 degrees and I was truly amazed at how much airflow I felt on my face. There is a bit more wind noise but nothing I would consider excessive. And for the amount of ventilation you get I would say it is a more than fair trade-off.
The helmet is extremely light and the field of vision is nice and wide.
It also comes with a clear and smoke visor which is an additional $35 to $45 value depending on what color or tint you get.
Overall, I would highly recommend this helmet to anyone in a hot climate regardless of your riding position..
Also, go with what the size chart provided by HJC says, unless you like your helmet to be on the loose side.
Sorry Anthony......??

First impressions..... favorable
I got the matte black rpha 11 pro. So far, the only thing I don't like is the metal grill (chin vent) on one side is not seated property. It is misaligned. Other than that, the helmet seems to be exactly what I needed.
The helmet fits small and tight. That's what I need!
I have a Shoei RF 1200 in size XS and it fits snug. Problems with the Shoei for me are that it buffets a lot at high speed. It also let's in air just forward of my ears from the cheek pads. The other thing is my ears. I MUST wear a headscarf over the top of my ears to put the Shoei on. If i don't, my ears WILL fold over and I can't get them unfolded. I have a Sena comm unit installed but having the speakers in or not does nothing about my ears folding over.
I'm hoping the RPHA 11 Pro size XS will address the three things I don't like about the Shoei RF 1200.

The RPHA is more of a race helmet than the Shoei. The Shoei is a exceedingly fantastic street helmet. I can't praise the RF 1200 enough but the ear folding, buffeting and air leak lead me to look at other helmets for spirited riding.

I tried the Scorpion EXO R2000 and returned it. The XS was way too large, the helmet was noisy, comm unit speakers did not fit (pressed on and rubbed my ears) and I did not like the quality. The center forehead vent was raising up. The adhesive used was not strong enough to keep it held down.

Enter the HJC RPHA 11 Pro
Aside from the chin vent grill being slightly askew, the helmet is impressive. It fits very similar to the RF 1200. I have the RPHA 11 in size XS and it fits tightly around the face, neck and jaw. There is slightly more room than I would like in the crown, mainly the sides of my head at the temples. I hope HJC will be making larger size cheek pads and comfort liners to address this although the cheek pads are fine as is (for me).
Just walking around in my house, I can feel the ventilation of this helmet. The chin vents are amazing. The forehead vents and chimney vents work wonderfully and you can actually feel the air inside the helmet. The RPHA 11 Pro vents Waaaaaay better than the Shoei RF 1200.

I CAN PUT THIS HELMET ON WITHOUT MY EARS FOLDING! This is a first for me as I have always had to either unfold my ears after donning a helmet or as with the Shoei, wear a head scarf over the top of my ears to prevent them from folding over.
I am truly impressed with the RPHA 11 Pro fit as this will allow me to wear the HJC without anything on my head and that will only increase my ability to feel the air from the forehead and chimney vents.
The chin strap is comfortable and well padded. Much better than the Shoei.

My Sena comm unit speakers fit and they fit comfortably!
No modification needed. Just take out the ear pads and pop in the speakers. The speakers are right up to my ears but they don't touch, rub or press against my ears.

The visor is very good. The visor change mechanism is quick and easy. The Shoei visor change is very good, quick and easy but HJC has em beat hands down on this. I do wish the visor was a bit thicker but it is NOT a thin, cheap visor by a long shot.
Vision out the visor is excellent up, down and side to side. I cab barely see the helmet when it's on my head. Tucked vision is very good. I also like the center latch and lock. It's convenient and it truly locks the visor. The visor has a positive seal around the gasket thanks to it being spring loaded. (This is not mentioned in the video)

It's cold here in D.C. so I have not been able to take this helmet to task yet. This is a preliminary review if the HJC RPHA 11 Pro and my first impressions.

Can't wait for warm weather so I can really put this helmet through its paces.?

Stay tuned for the update that will come in the spring after I've put some miles on this helmet.

I just love it.
I picked this helmet up earlier today and spent the afternoon on my CBR600 tracing over every curve within 30 miles of the garage.

My first impression of this helmet was that it was lightweight. I mean, really light weight. I am right between a medium and large in helmets and though I respect what Anthony has to say, I ended up going with the medium after trying both on. Its tight, but its supposed to be.

My second impression was, its a fine looking lid. Its aggressively styled, but without trying to hard. Just a really good looking lid.

The view port is generous and the visor offers little to no distortion, top to bottom or side to side. I was thrilled with how well my glasses fit into this helmet without causing pain in those pressure points just behind my ears after extended time on the bike. Also, the helmet came with a pinlock and an additional smoke-tinted visor in the box. These are both items that I would have likely purchased separately if they hadn't. I believe this to be a minimum of at least a $50.00 value. The HJC helmets that I have owned in the past all have a really easy visor release mechanism and the RPHA 11 is no different. In fact, it's release feels smoother and altogether upgraded from the CL17 I had been previously using.

The venting was adequate though a little noisy. It was cool out today so I closed the ports about halfway through the ride. This helmet is a tad bit noisier than I expected but not annoyingly so. I believe a lot of the noise factor is due to the ample room that HJC left around my ears which, as I stated above, is great for getting my specs on under my helmet. Its a trade off that this four-eyed rider would make every day of the week.

In the tuck and around the corners the RPHA 11 is absolutely amazing! Its 100% a focus first helmet, meaning that it in no way distracts from what I'm doing while I'm doing it. One of the best qualities of this helmet was somewhat unexpected. past helmets of mine have rubbed or caught against the top of my back protector while looking through a sharp turn. Its very distracting when that happens but I had come to just accept that this was part of riding. This helmet interfaced with the rest of my gear seamlessly. No rub, no catch. Just freedom to look and move where I want, when I want.

After I got back home, I put my SENA intercom on the helmet and if I have to knock the RHPA 11 anywhere its in this interface. The emergency pull cheek pads made running the speaker wires cleanly a bit of a chore and reinserting the pads took a little while to figure out. (Tip: The little red disks that interface with the pads are loose snaps. Pull them out of the helmet and place them in the pad before you slide everything back into place). This helmet was made more for track riding and so I can't knock it too hard for not being accommodating to the intercom. When I get to the track the SENA will have to go and be reinstalled again later. Hopefully with a little experience the install will get quicker.

In summery, I am just thrilled with this helmet. For the price, I haven't found anything out there that is lighter, more comfortable, vents more air, etc. Add in the pinlock and the extra visor and the RPHA 11 is a steal.

RPHA 11, SOME PROS AND SOME CONS
I purchased the HJC RPHA 11 Spicho, Matt Grey
it's not made in US yet :) but its the same helmet, just different graphics.

After riding this for 3 months, here are some of my thoughts:

PRO:
- light and agile
- great price base w/ the features you get
- excellent airflow/venting
- changing visor mechanism : easy and efficient
- interior comfort on head and face (nice & soft)
- Roller ball on the top vent have great response (with glove)
- comes with two visor, a clear and smoke. but only 1 pinlock (this also be a minor con, since you have to buy another pinlock)
- High Quality Graphic Finish

CON:
- Visor (even with pinlock) can fog up after longer rides in colder temperature.
- relatively loud for a "premium helmet"
- Confusing on Sizing, 1/2 to one size up does apply here
- comes with two visor, but only 1 pinlock
- drag on helmet... aerodynamic does run into an issue

Conclusion:
I do like his helmet, but I cannot say this is my favorite due to some of the cons I listed above. That is why I can give this a 4 star rather than 5. To be fair, I would give it a 4.5 star. With that price however, it does provide lots of functions comparing to other premium helmet brands. I also have to add that, the helmet shape doesn't look as cool or sexy comparing to the SHOEIs, AGVs or ARAI.

This is a great affordable helmet. I was deciding between the shoei RF 1200 and the HJC RPHA 11 Pro and the RPHA felt more comfortable to me. Plus the second tinted shield is a nice plus. The price was a big deciding factor for me as well, especially since it was 10% off HJC products at the time I bought it. It was also easy to install my SENA 10s headset in the helmet, which did have the recesses for the speakers.
One drawback I have is that the shield does seem to fog up easy when completely closed at a stop. However, if you crack it open like for city riding, that usually fixes it. There was a "fog resistant" film that came with the helmet for the shield, but I haven't tried it yet. All in all I am very happy with the purchase so far.

Great Helmet - Switched from Shoei
The best helmet I have owned and I am riding more than 20 years.

Light as feather - no fatigue even when I ride more than 4 hours.

Great wind dynamics.

Quite.

Cool.

Better than expected and I expected a lot.

Do not buy a size larger if your going to use for track, It breaks in quick and flow more air than any full face helmet on the market .

Review on fit only - Helmet has not been used
Sorry this review isn't complete. I haven't worn it on the track as I just picked it up this morning. I just thought I would give others here a quick heads up.

I watched the review here, Revzilla was recommending to go down a size, another video review that I watched recommended not doing that.
I was originally going to order a size up. This helmet is race fit... I found it slightly snug. It wasn't uncomfortable at all.

I have had an HJC, 3 Shoeis, 2 Bell, 2 Scorpion helmets in the past all Mediums. I measured around 22.7 and ordered a Medium on this one too....
The helmet is noticeably lighter than my Bell Star Carbon (2015) and my Scorpion EXO 2000. The finish is awesome and I was impressed. HJC isn't a super exciting helmet but I replace my helmets every 2-3yrs. I don't spend big bucks on them. This helmet seems like a great bang for the buck.

I will be back to edit and further review this helmet in June/2017 I would like to leave feedback on it for airflow. It will be used primarily for track.

Great fit, slightly noisy
This helmet fit my head better than the others I tried on (including a Schuberth.) Weight is reasonably light and I don't have a lot of trouble with drag, but I have a small wind screen. Airflow is reasonable (I live in Texas).

I did run into a minor issue where the cheek pad came out every time I took the helmet off. As it turns out, the emergency removal clips just needed to be pressed into place. My local dealer helped me figure this out. My attempts at contacting HJC customer support resulted in no response whatsoever. I don't believe that I can count on HJC to support their products given this experience. I do trust my dealer to help me out, however.

Noise is an issue. This is a loud helmet and I do wear ear plugs for longer rides. I'm on a reasonably quiet bike -- wind noise is the problem here. I suppose there are some who would suggest wearing ear plugs no matter what (and I probably would anyway). Nothing is perfect. My older Shoei helmet was quieter.

I'd buy this helmet again given the fit.

Fits great, lots of features
Haven't gotten to get out and ride with the helmet yet, will update when I do.
I was torn between the RPHA 10 and 11, mostly due to the significant price difference but watching the RPHA 11 video swayed me over - and I'm glad I did. I've gotten back into motos from about 15 years ago, so helmet tech I'm familiar with follows suit. Definitely night and day from back then. The lining and fit of the helmet itself are as discussed in the video - perfectly snug but very comfortable. Hopefully it stays that way over time.
Very impressed with the ease of shield removal, which leads to the ease of assembly of the Pinlock system - painless installation, and both clear and smoke shields come with the Pinlock pins so swapping will be easy.
Ventilation, though not tested, sure does look quite good. Plenty of vents as well as intuitive and easily operated controls.
Noise is TBD, hopefully it's a good as is reported. Fit and finish is top notch.

Revzilla, how would this helmet stack up against something like the shoei rf1200 for daily riding and occasional track use?
Joel S on Sep 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: There are some pro and con for each, but I honestly think RF1200 is better ( i own both helmets) for daily riding. Unless you go to the track more often than daily street riding, then go with RPHA11.

RF1200 - Better for Daily rides
- quieter
- better aerodynamic on street, cruise
- looks better
- heavier

RPHA11 - Better for Track
- louder
- better aerodynamic on track , tuck position

How does this helmet fair against wind noise with there being so many vents?
Brian H on Jan 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi! Ive own this helmet for about 2 months now, if you have all the vents open it can get a little noisy but only at high speeds, lets say Im doing over 70 and someone calls me at my sena smh10... I cant hear anything haha. But with so many vents theres always the option of adjusting them. When riding below 60 its really seal tight I close everything and just leave both chin vents open and it works great. Overall its a really good helmet works great for my that I live in an area were theres high temp most of the time and the pinlock sistem works perfectlty I dont remembre how is it to have a fog lens anymore.
How does this helmet fair in the 3/4 or 1/2 tuck position for easy city riding?
A C on Nov 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Absolutely great for me. Full tuck or less, all great. I am coming from Shoei. Quiter. For me better fit. No pressure points, even after hours of riding. I have only owned sport helmets.. so I cannot speak to how it compares to a stard street helmet. I can say I do not notice any issues with air bothering me at the chin. I also find it comfortable to ride in cold weather. I commute approximately 600 miles weekly - cold weather or hot (New England until the snow). I found it a great helmet in any weather.

So light that I never get any fatigue or pressure points.
