comfortable right out of the box
Just got my forma boots and all I can say is wow.i put them on to walk around to break them in but it seems someone has already done this for me.i wore these in my house for about 4 hrs done various things then went on a 50 mile ride,my feet never hurt and the boot moved very well walking so much I know I can walk all day in these.you can't be the price for what this boot has.ankle protection waterproof, anti slip sole easy on and off.im using these boots for touring and weekend riding and waking around so if you need a great boot take a good look at the forma boots.one more thing is the foot size runs true,I wear a 9.5 shoe and the forma boots don't come in half sizes so if you are in the middle like me go up to the next size.

Love these
I am a 10 1/2 Wide foot. I think lots of people do not realize they are a wide foot. That's why lots of people buy size 11 and it fits width but they have way extra room above the toes. SO my first recommendation is to be sure you are narrow, average, or wide foot.

If you are a wide foot, these fit true to size. I am a 10 1/2 Wide foot and got the Size 44, and they fit perfect.

Best'est (street) boots I've ever had - FANTASTIC!
WOW! Wasn't sure about the size... fit... or comfort.
These are FANTASTIC! 1st wearing was in 96 degree FL weather. Awesome! Much better than several other brands of boots.
Not overly warm -even in the heat. (Yes, I wear bamboo socks.)
Comfort? WOW! These felt better during the 1st wear than several other boots after months of break-in!
Sizing? Exactly true to sizing chart.
Without a doubt, the best street boots I've ever had. (Have 9 pair in closet currently.)
Wish I'd purchased these years ago.
FORMA is awesome! :)

super fit, durable and good value
waterproofing worked flawless (keep in mind, sweaty feet is not rain coming in ;) fit is awesome thanks to strap system. I cannot believe the price when compared to other Italian companies' offerings of similar design. Highly recommend.

Solid everyday boot
SERVICE: Revzilla is fast, accurate, and fast! Awesome! Placed the order, turned around, and a magical time-travelling gnome must have dropped them off on my porch when my back was turned. That, or Anthony and his crew were hiding in the bushes out front with a selection of footwear in anticipation of my order. Yes, they are that good, but enough pandering.

FIT: I wear an 11.5 in normal shoes. The EU45 was too small in length, but fit perfectly otherwise. The EU46 is perfect in length, but just a tad excessive in volume. A thicker insole and a different sock dialed the 46 in. I wish they came in half sizes. The double flap is great to adjust for calf size while still centering the shin plate. Easy on, easy off.

PROTECTION: Above and beyond for commuting and spirited road trips. Not beefy enough for anything off-road. I wish the heel cockpit were more solid. As is, your heel sits below the upper part of the sole. Not bad, but not perfect.

MISC: Boots are great for wider feet. Simple clean styling. Comfortable out of the box. The double flap will annoy you as the inside flap will catch on bike parts if you tuck in your pants. Factory insole is really bad, like a paper plate that has been cut into the shape of a foot, literally.

No surprises here. If you are going to buy a pair, patronize Revzilla. But don't buy a pair; it would be really awkward if we were all wearing the same awesome boots.

Excellent product for the money
I have worn BMW boots for years. My last pair lasted around 7 years. But recently they changed the fit for all of their boots: there is no longer a velcro adjust for the calf area. So I had to look elsewhere.

So I have been on the hunt for a new pair of boots for some time. Sidi had a few, but they are even more than BMW boots in some models! So I started looking here.I really like the video reviews from Revzilla! I have not seen any that were anything but spot-on. The Cape Horn boot was no exception when they stated that guys with larger calfs could adjust the top. I can put these on and I don't have any tightness or discomfort in the very top of the top when I have with many others that I have tried.

I have only taken some short rides so far and I find that the boot is very comfortable. Luckily my bike has an adjustment for the gear shifter which I had to increate the height since these boots are much thicker than my previous ones. I find that these boots are average on ventilation, but there's not much that can be done about this if you want waterproof boots! As to the waterproofing; I haven't taken them out in the rain yet. So I can't comment on that yet.

I like the styling of these boots since most Adventure boots have too many buckles, and other bling that I really don't like. (these do have metal tips that you can add if that is your thing). I like a boot that is waterproof, comfortable, and protects my feet/ankles. These most definitely fit the bill.

Thanks to Revzilla for their awesome return policy which allowed me to order these with confidence knowing that I could return them if they were not to my liking. I am headed out to Montana for a 2.5 week ride from Virginia. If I can, I will update the review once I have even more time in the saddle with them.

High Quality Boots
My first impression of these Forma Cape Horn boots is that they are very well made and that they look amazing. After trying them on, they are extremely comfortable right out of the box. I'm a size 9 US which translates to a 43 European and its a perfect fit. These boots have a wider foot box which fits my wider feet. I ride a sport bike ( Ducati Diavel) and wanted these for touring. I researched quite a few boots but these seemed to fit the style and protection I was looking for in boots.

Pros:
-Solid Leather construction with great protection
-Firm sole with anti slip rubber grip
-Great style (Looks like Batman Boots)
-Adjustable Velcro to fit larger calves
-Comfortable to walk around in
-Solid/ adjustable buckles to improve the stability and comfort
-Waterproof

Cons:
-Need knee high socks to wear with the boots because of the Velcro at the top of boots. Otherwise it's picky on the skin.
-Probably won't use the metal toe caps

All in all I am extremely pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend this product. Happy Riding!!

Amazing adventure / tour / commuter boots
I bought these boots in Spain about a year before Revzilla started carrying them and my take is - these boots are absolutely amazing. Excellent fit (true to size). I wear 43 (10) in most shoes and sneakers and 43's fit right on. The boots are comfortable for a full day wear. I use them on a sport bike for relaxed and/or spirited riding as well as during my commutes to work. Waterproof! On the hotter days they are pretty good on your feet and never too hot. They are light enough for a sport bike yet sturdy with soles stiff for riding stand-up on the foot pegs.

First Impressions
One of the reasons i bought these boots was because the height of my pegs eats my shins up. The shin armor solved that problem. I hardly notice it now. I wanted boots that were of adventure boot height and offered the kind of protection adventure boots do without their typical appearance. These fit the bill nicely on that subject. I also like the barrier going all the way up my calf, i tend to keep my legs in tight and these prevent heat getting transferred to my legs, no burns here. The waterproof wasn't a big selling point, if i ride in the rain it's purely by accident. I don't find the boots to breath too well because of the liner, but i did totally expect that. I also really like the protection these boots afford without giving a storm trooper appearance. They are pretty low profile and go under my jeans without any issues. They're a pretty sleek adventure boot. They're not really uncomfortable if you don't wear knee length socks. I didn't find them to irritate my skin at all. Of course they are much more comfortable with them. I really only have two complaints about this boot. The width is off. I do not have particularly narrow feet, these boots are wide. I wear Fox Vandal Thin socks(which aren't really that thin) with these and it really really helps a lot but they're still noticeably wide. The other issue (very minor, but still) i have is the velcro closure on the inside of the calf. It really serves no purpose as there is no adjustment from the interior. I wore these with my pants tucked in once and the pegs kept hanging up on this. Aside from that, I'm very happy with them. They are super comfortable both on and off the bike. I've probably ridden a total of 12 hours in them and spent double that time walking in them. I do really like them. I'll deal with the width issue, I can layer up and keep these as my cool weather riding boots. The boots feel very solid and i feel as protected as you can be wearing these.
