i ordered the g2 size for my 44 textile dainese. the fit is great height wise and give me compete back protection upto my lower shoulders. i prefer it in comfort that the hard manis i prevously had and feel just as safe. only real gripe i have is that if my jaccket is not zipped of tucked tightly. then the insert tends to move from side to side. however this can easly be overcome

Forcefield for Dainese Racing D1 jacket
I initially bought the Dainese Manis D1 G back protector. It felt huge and uncomfortable in the jacket and made me look like the hunchback of Notre Dame. This one was referred to me by the staff at Revzilla.

I couldn't be happier it gives me the same CE category II protection but is very comfortable don't even realize it's there.

Great product would highly recommend it for highest level of protection buy being comfortable at the same time.

Good
Pros: flexible, breathable, and comfortable

Cons: I removed a star because it is a little short in my Dainese Air Frazer Jacket. Could be several inches longer

Very Comfortable
I got this for my Dainese Carve Master jacket. It fit into the pocket perfectly and has been really comfortable.

I've had hard plastic back protectors previously, and they would shift around and feel super stiff and very noticeable but the Forcefield just disappears. I love it and recommend it highly

For use with Dainese Super Speed Textile Jacket
Fits fine in the Dainese Super Speed Textile Jacket. It's a little bulky and hot on the back before you get moving, but seems like it'd be very protective. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.

Don't mistake the near perfect review for a perfect product.
Given the history of Forcefield and their products, I'm sure this pad offers good protection, but until I've actually tested it (in a crash), I can't actually speak for how good it is at protecting you. As far as comfort goes, it's maybe a little bit stiff, but that really doesn't bother me much because it feels the same as having a hard-shell backpack on, like the Mach series by Ogio. It fit my jacket perfectly, which is a Dainese Racing C2 Pelle, very similar jacket to the Dainese Racing D1. This jacket has two pockets for back protectors, they're two different sizes so I wasn't too worried about fitment, but if you have concerns, you can always call or email Revzilla. The reason I gave this back protector 4/5 and 5/5 on most metrics is because it hasn't done anything to show me it's anything less yet.

Under size options the product lists '007' and '008'. I don't see what the numbers correlate to?
