It saved me in a crash
I am 6'6" tall so u ordered the 2xl tall. I have used this jacket from the day I got it. I have put it threw its all types of extremes from -10 to 105. Also it dose vary well in a crash. I was forced to put my bike down. The protection on it saved me from going to ER. A little on the crash. I was going 45mph. The car pulled out and they bracked hard and turned into me. And to avoid hitting them I put the bike down. I skidded over 100 feet. And the jacket has vary little damage.
The fit on the jacket is right on the mark for me.
I will always recommend this jacket. One because of the price. Two it dose vary well in a crash. Third cool in summer. Fourth it warm I. Winter.

I'm new to riding, but wanted to get a jacket to give some protection when the bike decides to go one way and I go another, something to shield the rain off, and something that would keep me warm in the spring/fall, and cool in the summer. Surprisingly, this jacket does almost all of that.

Sizing: I ordered it in large, after trying a dozen brands/makes on at our local motorcycle shop to get the right fit. I fall right on the line between medium and large, being 5'8" and 180lbs. I went one size up, so in the winter I can fit a sweatshirt under it if needed. It's a little big without the liner or a sweatshirt, but the velcro in the back snugs it up. Sleeves are the right length when in the riding position.

Comfort: I've worn it from the low 60s to 90+. While it's got the vents in the front and shoulders, anything above 80 leaves you sweating at a traffic light. 80-85 degrees is comfortable as long as you're moving. Airflow is alright, but expect to unzip the wrist cuffs to get some air up the sleeves on hot rides. When it gets cooler, I zip up the vents and snug the velcro and I'm toasty. I haven't had to use the liner yet, but I'm positive the jacket would be good to 40 before I need to grab a sweatshirt.

Armor: Not much I can say about armor for a sub $200 jacket. It's there. I haven't had to use it. The back protector is just a piece of foam, so plan on replacing that if you want more. The elbow pads are hard plastic, or whatever they make it out of, but are segmented so you can move your elbows easily. Nothing in the shoulders or chest. The fabric does seem durable, so it'd probably hold up to once or twice across the pavement at speed.

Waterproof: I've been caught in the rain once with the jacket, for about 15 minutes in a moderate rain. I didn't notice any leaks around the zippers or pockets and it kept me dry. I did make sure that I tightened the wrists, as water could easily come in and puddle at my elbows.

Overall: Seems like a good jacket; the fabric is heavyweight, the zippers are smooth, it keeps me dry. Great starter jacket.

GREAT FOR TALL SLIM RIDERS
Im 6'5" 200 lb and it is hard to find normal clothes that fit let alone motorcycle jackets. This is the first riding jacket i ever purchased and am very happy with it. I ordered the XL-T because my local motorcycle mechanic convinced me to get a tighter fit because if it is loose it may pinch you when you go down. The sleeves could be slightly longer but they are not to short, & the inner liner will fill the gap. My only other gripe is that the waist straps should be able to be tightened more, I had to customize my jacket for the waist straps to go about double as tight, then everything fit really well. Overall I really enjoy this jacket it has amazing airflow & is like a super air conditioner over 30mph, The air flow keeps me cool in the california summer heat so i am happy. Highly recommend to tall people.

Looks good, Fits good, Lots of Built-In Utility
I haven't taken this jacket out on a ride as the weather has been pretty wet and cold. The sizing is spot on. I'm about 6'1, 215, broad shoulders, ape-like arms, and usually wear 44/46L jackets. The XL fits perfect, but may not be loose enough for some riders. The rabbit pocket extends down over my rear. If I had a belly or a larger chest, I could see this jacket getting tight real fast. The adjustable straps everywhere make it easy to loosen or tighten depending on what you wear underneath. My arms are about 37/38 and the sleeves make it to my edge of my palms. My budget didn't allow me to buy a $600 jacket, so this was my compromise. The materials are nice and feel durable, and it's heavy like a leather coat. The liner is nice, but I don't see it adding a whole lot of warmth. I think it will just act as windbreaker for the air penetrating through the jacket and vents, but then it's a 3 season jacket. A good thermal underneath will easily extend the season. Obviously, it has pockets everywhere and the Velcro closures are very tough to peel open, so whatever you put in there it very secure. Zippers are good quality, and there are plenty of them. Venting is in the right areas. The pads in the elbows and shoulders are adequate. The back pad is hardly noticeable. It feels like a cheese sandwich stuffed in a pocket. I should probably check and make sure that RevZilla didn’t just stuff a cheese sandwich in there as a joke. Overall, the jacket has great coverage and is comfortable to wear. Every feature seems well thought out and has a purpose. I wish my regular jackets were this adjustable. I'll update my review once I've had a chance to wear it while riding hence only 4 stars for now.

Very nice 3 season jacket!
This is a very nice jacket for the price. I was going to get the trek 3, but the lack of big front vents pushed me away. Then I saw that the trek 4 had the big vents I wanted and patiently waited for it to be in stock. The only thing that I don't like is the rear exhaust vent. They changed it from a long zip across the back, to two vents on either side that have Velcro closures. If they would have kept it the same I think it would be a home run! Water proof hasn't been tested yet, but it looks promising. Rain gutters on the zippers, waterproof zippers themselves, it just feels like it will be fine. I will test this weekend in the rain. I had to remove the elbow armor as it was annoying, but I almost always do that anyways. I'll probably upgrade the backpad as its just foam. Overall, very nice but will get hot, especially behind a windscreen.

This product has great features
Love this jacket! It's a little roomy, but the Velcro straps on the arms and back ensure a good fit! With the liner zipped in its a little warm in this 60+ degree weather, but it's perfect in the morning when it's cold and crisp out. I love that its longer in the back, so no worries of cold air creeping in.

Oh and its more water resistant than waterproof, especially in heavier rain. It holds up well in light rain showers!

So glad I made this purchase
Let me start by saying that this is probably the best fitting jacket (of any kind) that I have ever owned. I was initially concerned about the sizing -- I am 6' tall, weigh 235, and have a 48" chest -- because the 2XL's chest size went from 48-50 and I didn't want anything overly bulky or loose; particularly when I removed the thermal liner. I'm not as large as my measurements might imply (no, really), so I went with the XL and couldn't be happier. The chest is comfortably snug, the cut of the shoulders allows plenty of mobility, the sleeve length is perfect, and the side zippers provide as much or as little expansion room as necessary.

The only knocks I have on this jacket are 1) the front pockets are all pretty difficult to negotiate, particularly with gloves on; and the lower pocket openings are quite high and a bit hard to get your hands into; and 2) as stated in other reviews, the neck closure is a bit tight (but not overly restrictive).

I can't speak to the waterproofing as it hasn't gotten wet yet but I can tell you that it handles cold temps very well. I rode for about 2 hours at 75 mph in 35 degree air temp with nothing but a t-shirt and light base layer under it and all that came through felt like a cool summer breeze.

Yes, I love this jacket so far and hope it holds up to foul weather and time. Thanks Revzilla for making my first purchase from you a very pleasant experience.

Finally a great fitting Textile Jacket!
I am very tall in the torso and have a thin build. I have always had issues finding a textile jacket that fit me properly. This jacket is perfect for me. I am 6' 2" with a 31" inseam and I weigh 195lbs. The Medium Tall fits me with enough room to wear a layer or two under and still be able to tighten the waist/stomach region up with the velcro straps. The jacket is very heavy which was a surprise. I like heavier jackets because they don't get blown around as bad. It has great protection on the elbows and shoulders but the back protection is nothing more than a thin foam pad. I will likely upgrade the back protection. I dropped 1 point in protection because of the back protection.

Very happy with this jacket
I've had an opportunity to ride in this jacket for about two weeks now. I'm 5'11, 175, slightly thin and the medium fits me nicely. On 75 degree days the ventilation works nicely. The chest ventilation is easy to locate and zip while riding as well. Took a ride on a chilly fall morning, 40 degrees and the liner was a big help. It's easy to put in and take out which is a plus. I'm prone to being cold so still needed a pull over under the jacket and it fit easily. Lots of pockets if you need them. I've gotten compliments on the jacket as well. Elbow protection fits where it should and the cinches ensure that it stays in place. Down side is it is difficult to find Fly Street over boot pants that are compatible with the jacket. Only one style to choose from.
