Heated gear is amazing.
One of the best heat trollers I've seen. Compact, doesn't take much real estate and works perfectly. Easy to install and use.

Toller works good
Wired it into a female BMW Style power socket and can control how much voltage is supplied there. Mounted the controller to the clutch reservoir with velcro. A simple male BMW style plug to sae jumper between my vest and the bike.

I'll be warm on the 14R come fall riding season.

It does it's job (but I'm still deciding where to place it)
Yes, it's simple and it works just fine. Thing is I still wonder how to wear it in case of a sudden need for jacket temp adjustment. I wonder it is supposed to wear it inside the jacket pocket (?). Got to build something to place it where I could use it while riding though.

Wonderful add on for heated gear
Installs easy, just like a battery tender. Maked it easy to control my heat level on my jacket. Be sure to unplug when you get off the bike. Other than that it works great. I only have a heated jacket to the single controller is all I needed.

Works great
I did have the wireless one that kept going out. This wired one works much better. Heat is constant and gets the digits very warm in 20 degree weather.

Works Great, would like to see micro click dial adjuster and lanyard holder
I purchased this to power a pair of Firstgear heated leather gloves, so I had to add a Y-Connector to split power for right and left gloves.

Installation was simple, and there is plenty of cord between the battery terminal and the female input plug to which the dial adjustment unit on the Troller plugs in. However, I would have liked another 8 to 12 inches of lead on the Troller side of that female connection to make it easier for me to locate the Troller dial adjuster unit where I wanted. Also, I'd like to see Firstgear provide a lanyard set-up so that the entire unit can be easily bound and then hung around my neck and under my jacket with a nice factory delivered package. I actually rigged a lanyard and some single wrap Velcro straps to accommodate an easy arrangement for storage on the inside of my jacket to which I plug the y-connector that threads down each of my sleeves.

The Troller dial adjuster does not have any markings to let you know that temperature or power is set to any level such as 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, Full-On, and there is no micro-click to the dial adjuster. The lack of micro-click makes me think that during a ride the dial will work it's way higher or lower by rubbing on clothing while under my jacket, and the lack of markings is an issue because I fail to have an exact baseline for settings that I can correlate to outside temperature. I'll probably use some white paint to set a few index points to use as reference to outdoor temperature to help avoid adjustments during a ride.

With that said, I used the Heat-Troller and gloves this past Saturday on a 100 mile ride and the set-up worked great!
