ethirteen designed the eSpec Plus rim starting with 6069 alloy for ultimate strength to weight, tough welded joints, and robust flanges which resist denting, but dent inward in the event of heavy impacts, to keep your tire in place and inflated. They're drilled with a 28 hole configuration to optimize weight, without compromising stiffness and strength where you need it. 27.5" rims have a 35mm inner width which amplifies tire stability and retention with wider e-Bike tires (like the ethirteen 2.7" Zeppelin), and makes it perfect for Mullet builds. The 29" size comes with a 30mm inner width perfectly optimizing 2.3"-2.6" tire profiles for fast rolling predictable traction.

Rims are hand built to the highest standards using DT Competition Spokes, alloy nipples and nipple washers, producing a wheel with a respectable weight and attractive price tag for such an impressive spec. Like all ethirteen wheels, eSpec Plus come ready to roll, with tubeless tape and Gen 2 Quickfill Valves installed, and spare spokes and nipples in the box.
