Nearly There, But Not Quite Perfect
I have been waiting for these since they were announced months ago (what's with all the out of stock products Dainese...it's riding season already!).

I was asking for "in" gloves for a while as I love the tidy concept of the "in" boot that Dainese champions, though not everything about the execution. Keeping as much surplus material out of the equation lessens the chances of snagging on bike parts, helps with aerodynamics and contributes to an altogether more modern, minimalist look.

The gloves feature pretty much all the finger and hand protection one would need on the road. In that respect I cannot fault the glove from the wrist forward. Maybe a little more airflow would be nice but I understand they have to strike a balance between the integrity of the glove in a crash and ventilation. That being said, I think I'd still feel more comfortable with the Full Metal RS gloves, not just because of the kevlar mesh, metal parts and coverage of the full gauntlet but because the "in" system Dainese has created doesn't feel secure to me.

The neoprene part around the wrist designed to slip under the sleeve of your jacket does so very nicely when you first put it on. However, with no velcro or other such system to keep it in place I noticed it will slip out of the sleeve when moving around on the bike, leaving the skin exposed. I would be worried a slide might also lead to a gap between jacket and glove and there are no sliders or other major ulna protection, mainly just neoprene in that area.

For some reason they omitted to use the hook and loop system they use with the "in" boots, which is strange because if I recall correctly they already have a patch of velcro at the wrist of suits to hold the removable liner in place. All it would take is a liner a couple of inches shorter at the wrist and a slightly larger patch of velcro on the inside of the suit / jacket and you would have somewhere to secure the glove. I guess for their endorsees they can tailor leathers to be just the right length so this does not happen but for the regular consumer who has to buy standard sizes it might not be a perfect fit. Having said that, I have not seen anyone on track use these yet which might be somewhat telling.

The other issue I have is one I have with other such proprietary creations (as with the "in" boot system)...compatibility. It seems strange of Dainese to create a system then not make it standard on your relevant product lines, going forward. The "in" glove system is only available on a couple of jackets and one suit as far as I can tell. I don't expect them to add it to cafe racer style jackets or legacy products but any new products related to sport riding should feature this as an option. Ditto the "in" boots not working with all of their race suits. I've said it before...if I commit to your proprietary system you need to ensure it works with your other products because I can't use it with any other brands.

Anyway, it's a quality glove with, in my opinion, a flaw in the execution which could be easily corrected.

Dainese "In-Glove” style is the future!
Very happy with my purchase of the “In-Gloves.” I don’t know if Dainese was the first to make this style but these are the future. I was considering getting another pair of the Dainese 4-Stroke short gloves but even with the short cuff the gloves bunch up with the jacket cuff. That got me thinking of getting a glove with a gauntlet but I didn’t want that either. So I took a gamble with these and couldn’t be happier, though one thing could be improved and I’ll get to that later. It does take a few seconds to get the inner glove cuff inside your jacket but once it’s in, it’s in! As I said before this “In-Glove” style is the future. Check out the pics for glove-jacket fitment. On arrival the left glove fit perfect. The right glove took 4 rides to break in and then fit perfect. So, the one thing that these gloves need for improvement is being able to use touch-screen devices. Come on Dainese it’s 2016!

I paired up the gloves with the Dainese Horizon jacket.

These gloves saved my hands
I have had these glove for about 3 months and they don't disappoint.

It was hard getting used to the thick layers of protection, there is very minimal feedback from the controls but you get used to it very quickly.

It has proven its durability from a slow 20km crash. Palm area stayed intact with only minor scratches.

Highly recommend them. Plus they look SICK!

Great full-coverage alternative to full gauntlet
These gloves are solid. Well built, stylish, and all the protection features you could expect from gloves that are meant to be raced in. I really like the "in" gloves because I wanted better coverage than a true short-cuff, but didn't really want to have to deal with a full gauntlet. You don't need to have a specially designed jacket to work with these, the "in" cuff design fits easily inside both of the jackets I wear while commuting very comfortably and keeps a gap from appearing between my jacket and gloves.
These are great gloves that will undoubtedly save my hands in a crash.

Great!
As always, Danes does not disappoint. I have the Full Metals as well and got these because I wanted more airflow since I live in FL and it gets really hot. These gloves did just that and they look amazing.

what a pair of globes!!!
Quality and design on these are second to none. It took me a day of riding to brake them in and did they perform?!! They are easy to put on for in jacket. Also there is a little strap inside the wrist area that I used to easily to pull them on your hands. They feel like metal, say no more :)..

If you are looking for in-jacket gloves with comfort and protection rock in these babies..

Thank you!

Not worth $279
I've been wearing these for about 2 months now. The stitching started coming out of the neoprene area after a couple of weeks of use. I don't feel like they offer any more protection than a normal short-cuff glove - unless the "neoprene" portion is some kind of highly abrasion-resistant material that I'm not aware of. They look and feel great, but Dainese's quality doesn't seem to match their prices. It's a good concept, but not quite there yet.

Hands down no pun intended, superb
I’m a firm believer in wearing quality hand protection so I do not skimp when it comes to gloves. With that said, these are overkill for the street but I do not care. These are the best gloves that I’ve ever owned. I don’t like gauntlets on the street plus these work perfectly with my air frame d1. The sizing is a bit weird. I have the MiG c2 gloves in medium and they fit great so I bought the carbon long’s in a medium and they were too big and felt cheaply made. So I got the race pro ins in a small and they fit great. Pretty tight at first but they’re breaking in nicely. Some have mentioned the seams on the neoprene tearing but I don’t see that being an issue if one takes time and care putting these on. Yeah if you’re pulling and tugging and being overly aggressive then I can see that being an issue. All in all a superb glove.

Comfort before cuteness
These are my first pair of Dainese gloves so I was super excited because I purchased Dainese boots and two Dainese jackets. Needless to say the gloves look bad ass and I liked the feature of being able to tuck them underneath my jackets. I wore them while in the house and flexed my fist for a few weeks to help speed up breaking them in while my bike was getting some work done. My pinky fingers were on fire! In American size I wear a Large so I got the XL in Dainese. I rode my bike for two days for the first time and now my knuckles feel raw where the protective knuckle padding is located on the gloves. It got so painfully uncomfortable that I took them off on my ride back home. I am sooo disappointed!! I understand breaking in gloves but usually the gloves get more comfortable over time, not get more uncomfortable. The gloves seem kind of bulky on the back hand side already so I don't know if going to a XXL would be a good fit either. Great looking gloves, and great protection but not worth the pain to my fingers.

Under minimal use gloves started falling apart.
I purchased these on 07/29/2016 and I have about 1,100 miles on them (street) and commuting or freeway cruising. The right one has started falling apart, the seams just let go on one of the fingers, the velcro adjustment strap is frayed. The left one is not as bad but also starting to fray on the strap. For all the protection the fingers seem to only be held together by some tiny thread and maybe glue?
