Reviews & Questions
I suffered the same fit delimma as others, 52's were too loose, and 50's seemed too tight. Even today after over a year, I still feel like I am struggling to get in the 50's I settled on, but once in place and on the bike, they feel great. I am 6'1" and 175lbs.
These pants have poor waist adjusters and a bit of a short waist, but over-all I love them. The leather is fantastic, but differs from other Dainese of the past. It is a lighter, but very strong leather with its own personality as compared to my older Alien pants (which have exceptional fit, BTW).
It seems some lament the changes Dainese make with fit and materials over the years, but I just go with the flow and make do, ultimately enjoying each item more the longer I wear it. In that sense, I guess that defines Dainese, it has that heirloom type quality that other Mfg's just don't seem to have. Their leather is still very special as compared to all the rest.
Or is it necessary to buy the Dianese IN boots?
