Just a comment on size
I'm 5'8", 160 lbs. I wanted it to fit closely so it wouldn't bunch up under my jacket, so I bought a small. It fits ok, but I can only wear a t shirt underneath. The sleeves are the tightest part. I decided to get a medium as well so that I can commute in a long sleeve shirt under it.

Great wind blocking base layer!
Bought this to wear under my Dainese Speed naked jacket.
I found that in cold weather the breathable inserts in the arms would let in quite a lot of cold. The D-Mantle jacket blocks ALL of the wind out. In my case, this one fleece lined wind-stopping jacket replaces two thermal base layers and a Columbia fleece. It's that good. I've owned several other wind stopper type under layers(such as a Rev'it Frontier) and have found that they do not stretch and fit properly. This one does. Also worth mentioning is the nifty thumbhole in the sleeve to keep things in place. Nice little touch. Fits true to size I'm 5',11" 170lbs, athletic build & wear a size 50 jacket(worn as a second skin, tight) and I bought a size Medium D-Mantle Jacket, great combo, would definitely recommend.

Wind Stop
Great stretch wind block fleece. Warm and snug to fit under my jacket. No bulky at all. Really like the off-set zipper as it doesn’t allow zipper bunching, must have learned that from their winter sports apparel.

Good addition for layering
Long enough to fit inside riding pants without slipping out. The slightly elasticated material also allows it to work well outside of your pants too. The torso is windproof and makes a noticeable difference when worn under a vented jacket. Note however, that the sleeves are not windproof so if your jacket has mesh in the arms like mine does, it will not add any warmth to that part of your body. The high collar is very comfortable and the offset and well protected zipper prevents any chafing. The thumb holes in the sleeves are a nice touch and disappear once you have the jacket on and slip them off. Works well for me with a poly T-shirt under a Dianese Super Speed Textile jacket down to about 50F, above 80F it’s too warm. I’ll keep it in my tail bag to add a bit of extra warmth on spring, summer and fall evenings in central Texas.

50-60 F Great Low 40's possible
If you're looking for a layer that can help you keep out the cold in the temp ranges listed above than this jacket is a good addition. If you layer properly you can go deeper into the cold I managed at night down into the 40's without being uncomfortable without a full out riding suit.

The Jacket is well made from a manufacturing standpoint.

The fit is dependent on your desires. It works great for me since I like a looser fit. Personally I think it would still be a bit loose mainly in the neck even if I got the proper size.

The functionality is the point that is most important. After riding in this it is not for the extreme colds or as a layer over or under cloths on its own as in a the only layer you still need a shell. The jacket is windproof on the core but the arms it are not. When worn under my coat and over my shirt it really shined. The wind that normally cuts through the zipper was gone and with the high neck the core protection all was well. As for the arms since I was wearing a jacket the arms weren't an issue and I stayed warm the addition of the thumb loops didn't allow air into the sleeves so it worked great. Lastly the zipper on the neck if you're concerned on that issue does not catch on skin nor can you feel the metal on your skin.

A case in point I care to argue is that this jacket is for a minimalist. I say that because I don't like to have a jacket that is big and baggy and makes noise like a snow suit when you move but with proper layering you wont feel like a knight walking funny with stiff joints in this jacket. If you ride Super Sport or Sport the cool factor is still there along with functionality.

Winter commuter essential gear
This was one of the best pick ups I got for winter 2014/2015. Live in Washington DC and we had a very cold winter. This was a great way to stay comfortable in below 20 temps. Commute everyday and wore this under my 4 season Revit jacket and partnered with the Diaense base layer I was good to go. Just becareful with Velcro it will snag the material so just be carful. It's a form fit, if U plan on wearing over multiple layers go a size up. I just wore the Dianese EVO winter thermal and it fit great. I wore a small I am 5'8" 150 gym rat so it contoured very well. A must have and great looking gear too

Great product
I wear it under my super speed c2 jacket when it's chilly outside and I'm very happy with the product's performance. I stayed warm my entire ride and I felt no wind at all.
It's also very stylish! Definitely recommend it

Great mid-layer for cold weather riding...
This is my second winter season riding with this as my mid-layer. Makes winter riding much easier. Really like the monkey paws on the sleeves - makes getting your jacket on much easier and keeps the sleeves inside your gloves to keep cold air out. Does a great job of blocking wind on your chest and torso, but arms still feel a bit of the cold. My only gripe is that the threading is starting to come undone in a few places and I'm getting some pilling. That said, I wear this under my jacket every day for temps under 65°.

warm.
this is great, there really is NO wind as long as the temperatures are 60F or higher. at 52, like this morning, i could feel too much of the cold air around the shoulders and chest area. this was despite it being my only jacket liner. next trip i will use both the original jacket liner and this and report back. i would buy it again though because the quality is really good and its like a jacket lubricant, makes putting everything on easier.

Not what I expected
Ordered a size M and realized it was huge, replaced for S and it's too loose for me.

I'm wearing it under a Mesh Spidi jacket and I can feel the wind going right through me. This jacket DOES NOT block wind as I expected.

I'm riding in SoCal and I can hardly say it gets cold here, but morning rides at ~60 degrees are too chili for me. Luckily I got a Spidi rain liner that blocks ALL the wind. I just wear the NoWind jacket underneath to keep me warm.
