Reviews & Questions
A. they aren't quite the same size, one being about 1/2 inch longer, it makes them look uneven when mounted next to eachother.
B. the mounting screw holes are about 1.5 inches apart which means its very difficult to get both screws into a stud (being just shy of 2 inches#
and C. the "alternate" hanging position #holding it by the chin# doesn't fit all helmets, my wife has a HJC FG-17 #small# and it has a breathbox-like nose guard, that doesn't allow it to be hung in that position, my HJC IS-MAXII fits perfectly

Mounting is pretty straight forward - drill a couple of holes in the wall, screw it in, done (no mounting hardware was provided).
My only complaint is about the mounting holes. They are side-by-side, spaced about 1 1/2 inches apart - about the same width as the 2x4 stud I was mounting them in, which meant one went into the stud and the other went into sheetrock with a molly. If they were vertically oriented, both could have gone into the stud.
Bought one for my brother too.
This is a must have for riders who have more than one helmet or those who want to avoid dropping their helmets at home.

It's a nice product which has just the right curvature to not scratch your helmet and stay stable.
As other reviewers have noted, they should have aligned the screw holes because once you find a stud you can only affix the left or right side to wood, with the other side grabbing drywall in a typical setup. This is the only reason for my -1 star.
