A cool alternative to leather, portion of sale goes towards a noble cause.
When I was shopping around for a new jacket I wanted something clean and stylish without the pricetag or clichés of leather, but also something that would provide a good amount of protection. Black Brand delivered with this Street Team jacket.

The fit gives a nice balance of style and comfort. I like that the bottom of the jacket sits right at the beltline. I really appreciate the lack of logos and branding, too. There's nothing flashy, nothing obnoxious, just a couple of well integrated Black Brand skull logos on the chest pockets and a nearly invisible embroidered skull on the left cuff. In addition to the clean look, with the low-profile armor I'm comfortable walking into any establishment without feeling like a billboard, or looking like an overly geared out biker guy. The jacket just looks cool.

The fabric feels very durable yet is still comfortable against my delicate skin while crusin', and with the cuffs unzipped and the vents opened up there's a nice amount of airflow. The pockets are nice, too, specifically the interior breast pocket. The buttons and zippers feel durable and secure, too. I haven't needed the wind liner, seeing that I live in the south and it's summer. But, it came out with ease, so that's cool.

ALSO, I didn't know this until after I received the jacket, but Black Brand gives a portion of each sale to Homes For Our Troops, an association that builds mortgage-free homes specially adapted for severely injured post 9/11 veterans. I thought that was pretty stellar. Bonus.

Excellent jack especially for the money
I was looking for a "normal" looking jacket i could ride and be protected and still look good off the bike. I ride a Ducati Scrambler and don't fit in the Harley or sport bike crowd style wise. the jacket is pretty heavy (what i wanted) and very well built. The armor adds some bulk in areas that you normally wouldn't feel but it is relatively comfortable.
I have ridden in this jacket in sunny and 85 degree heat. Without the liner i was quite comfortable due to the venting front and back.
This jacket feels very durable and i expect it to hold up well over time.
I am very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a casual style jacket but wants full on protection.
I am 6' 205 and the large fits great. btw i have longer arms and i have enough length in this size.
I would have like another inside pocket - my only gripe.
Oh and Rezvilla ships fast!!

Just What the Doctor Ordered!
Finding a mid-range priced, non-leather, three-season jacket that comes with good armor, little outside branding, and quality build is hard to do.

The Street Team Jacket from Black Brand fit that bill perfectly for me.

First and foremost, the absence of any large corporate logo or name plastered across the jacket gives it a mature, casual look that an old fart like me, riding a big V-Twin on long annual trips, truly appreciates. Look, I understand the need for branding, but far too many manufacturers of motorcycle jackets seem to take delight in making their customers look like rolling billboards. (I'm talking to you Alpinestar, Icon, & Dainese!) I'm also now at an age where tight leather or multi-color Euro-mesh just looks kinda silly.

I bought the black version (Black Brand calls it "Dark Grey.") It looks like a denim or canvas jacket even though it's made from polyester/nylon. I like that I can wear it into a restaurant or bar where it doesn't scream: "There's the guy with the motorcycle out front;” although the jacket can't do a thing about my "helmet hair," which is also a pretty easy "tell!” This jacket does subtly feature Black Brand's skull logo on the snap buttons and their logo is lightly embossed on one cuff. Just enough to make a quiet statement rather than a scream.

Where this jacket really shines, however, is outside on the road. The weight and ventilation with the inner liner removed seems fine enough for summer riding, and I'm confident that the inclusion of a full sleeve "37.5 Cocona" thermal-regulating inner liner will provide enough protection from the wind and cold to get me through spring and fall rides in the Rockies. I was right on the bubble between XL and 2XL, so I ordered the 2X to allow for some extra layering beneath the jacket when necessary, and the fit was perfect. (I'm 5'9" and weigh a deceptively fit 230 lbs!!!)

I love that Black Brand provides a full set of D30 armor (including the back protector) which some brands don't do at twice the price! Could the jacket use a little more reflective piping on the back or along the sleeves? Maybe, but that wasn't a deal killer for me. Is it fully waterproof? No, it's not, which is why I pack an Olympia rain jacket in my saddle bag for when the weather turns gnarly.

Bottom line: This a well-made jacket if you just want a basic look and decent seasonability. The fact that the company donates part of the purchase price to a worthy veteran's non-profit is icing on the cake. Way to go, Black Brand.

And way to go, Revzilla, on fast and free shipping. I ordered on a Monday afternoon and was wearing the jacket by noon on Wednesday of the same week!

Not perfect but pretty damn good
Wanted to get a more low-key motorcycle jacket than my current jacket for warmer days or whenever I want to look like I'm just wearing a normal jacket. This fits that style perfectly, wore it around for a few days to break it in and no one was able to tell it was a motorcycle jacket until the touched the armor panels. Very covert.

Pros:
-Great style, really enjoy the subtle skull accents and the overall work jacket appearance
-Decent airflow, will still probably be a little warm on hot days but unless you're wearing a full mesh jacket you're going to be warm anyway
-Good wind protection, with the windproof liner I was at highway speeds for an hour at 45 degrees F, only thing that got cold was my neck from the gap between my jacket and helmet
-Includes a full suite of D30 CE level 1 armor on shoulders, elbows and back. Nice to see a company not skimp out on the back protection and throw real armor in there, not just a foam back pad.

Cons:
-Would have preferred more protection like an abrasion resistant liner or doubled up material on skid zones.
-Maybe the jacket is telling me I need to work out, but the arms are just a little too big which makes the elbow armor sit too low. Just worried if I get into a crash whether or not my elbow would hit the armor or the pavement.

Besides those two gripes I'm very happy with this jacket. I am trading a little safety for style and comfort but there'll always be a tradeoff.
