Well built
It's a solid quality piece of equipment that I believe will last a life time. It's easy to set up and works precisely as expected. I'm glad I bought it.

The going price around here for changing and balancing motorcycle tires is about $150 (both tires on the bike). It's not a hard thing to do and considering that tires need to be changed every year or two (at least for me), this and the other tools needed will pay for itself in less than two tire changes.

Many people don't think motorcycle tires need to be balanced, but while non balanced tires will work, common sense tells us that an unbalanced tire will bounce to some degree and that bouncing can cause many problems, such as premature tire wear, cupping, and handling problems.

Our tires are arguably the most important part of our machines and the cost to have them balanced is negligible.

Well Built and Heavy Duty
I am pleased with this stand/balancer, I have wanted to do my own mounting and balancing for years, this is simple and as much as people will argue a spin balancer is the way to go, Old school works just as good if you do it right

Good purchase
First of all, balancing motorcycle tires is not difficult. With this stand, anybody can do it. Even a five year old. If your changing you own tires on you bike, this is something I recommend having. Price is fair, it is all metal, no plastic. If stored inside, it will last many many years

Great stand.
Stand worked well for truing a wheel I laced. Didn't try to balance used balancing beads instead however I'm sure it would work well for balancing. Overall super easy set up and to use it.

What is the distance between the two sets of roller bearings and the length of the truing axle?
Ryan C on May 23, 2017
What is the max axle diameter that the stand can handle? KTM 990 Adventure has a 30mm bore that seems to be an issue with some.

So i bought this, and stripped some of the allen screws. Could anyone tell me what the size is? It was not available at lowes

Will this fit a BMW F800GSA or does it need an adapter?
Nicholas M on Jun 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, this will fit your bike. I personally haven't run across any bikes that it won't work with. Most axles are pretty close in diameter. It's very simple, basically just slide the little cone shapes from each side of the cross bar so that they're holding the wheel in the center of the stand. Secure them so that the bearings for the wheel are allowing the wheel to rotate. When the wheel stops rotating, put the wheel weights 180 degrees from the bottom (heaviest part pulls itself down). Turn the wheel so that the wheel weights are either at 3 or 9. If the wheel doesn't rotate it's balanced! There's a little more to it, but that's the just-of it. Videos are helpful if you haven't done it before. Good luck!
Will this fit a BMW R1200GSA LC 2015?
Per S on Jul 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: You can balance the front wheel, but not the rear unless you are able to find cones that will fit the large center hole in the rear wheel. (There's no axle/hub on the rear; the wheel bolts to the swing arm with five lug bolts.
