My son wore it and had accident head first survived with helmet intact!
Son's head stuck under an Acura Integra.....I had to lift the bumper and pulled his head out. The Bell Revolver Evo stayed intact and the modular portion did not flip up and stayed shut! Thank God and Bell for protecting his head!

Unbearably Loud
Bought this helmet based on the reviews of this year and last years. They had stated it was a great helmet and the noise issues were resolved. If this is better than last years, I would hate to hear what that sounds like. Over 60 mph the sound is unbearable. I have pocket speakers in my helmet and at full volume, I cannot hear my music. I have an HJC BT is-max that I thought was loud but is probably half as loud as this (it doesn't even have the chin flap). With all vents close i feel air rushing in at my cheeks where the modular face flips down. there is probably 1 inch overhang, so i'm not sure where the air is coming in but I clearly feel it coming int he sides. If i hold my hands over the gap where the top comes down the sound goes away.

I ride upright on an FZ6R and tucking slightly helps, but this is supposed to be good for upright riding. Turning your head causes air to rush straight through the side of the helmet. This was likely a waste of $200.

Helmet saved my life
Bought one in 2014 and this Fall (2016) came off motorcycle at 115mph and this helmet saved my life! I am replacing it with another Bell Evo. I do wish that the helmet was quieter (If I cup my hands underneath helmet directly below ears the noise goes away). Visor really easy to get on/off.

Very nice modular at a reasonable price.
I've had a bilt Solar for the past several years and I liked it a lot but after a tumble off my seat onto the asphalt broke the chin bar latch and not liking the upgrades Bilt did to the new Solar. I decide to check out some other options and settled on my EVO Segment. Overall I'm very happy with it, fit and finish are excellent and it's extremely comfortable. There is plenty of room for more blue tooth Sena headset and ease of pulling liner pieces out is fantastic. My only complaint it that its a bit loud especially under and behind your ears. With my Bilt I rarely wore earplugs but with my EVO I do most of the time. I'm hoping Bell tweaks the helmet a bit to add padding ended the ears all the way to the neck. This will quiet it down quite a bit.

Great fit and looks
This helmet has it all. Nice fit, great looks and excellent protection. And being a segmented helmet, gives it more versatility. Highly recomended.

Good helmet but a little wide probably due to it being a modular.
Bell is a good helmet. I can only compare it to my AGV K3 which is actually more comfortable but only by a little. Revzilla has great reviews and service is quick. I would recommend them

Great helmet, magnetic strap keeper broke
I have gone on a coule short rides with the helmet, it's very comfortable and looks great, not to noisy
The flip down visor could go down a little further but it works good enough
Only real complaint is the magnetic strap keeper broke the first time I put the helmet on, kind of depressing to me but over all a great product

Way Small - Never used on bike so can't say to the rest
My melon 58 1/2cm according to there chart says I should have a medium. I ordered a Large and it was so tight I could not put my glasses on. Once the helmet was on I pushed in the side foam to get my glasses one side then the other but it kept forcing the frame an inch higher than my ears. I think it would have loosened a little over time but not enough and I can't ride without glasses until it does. Should you order it get 2 sizes larger than the size chart tells you to.
I wore the helmet riding my recliner watching TV and I noticed it was making my neck tired rather quickly. It's heavy. I weighed it and it's 68oz. so the next size up will only be heavier.
Others have noted that the tint is not dark enough on the sun visor and I agree.
I also didn't like how the sun visor switch worked by turning just the left side of the sun screen. I hope the Nolan isn't that way.
Good thing Revzilla has a decent return policy. I sent it back the next morning and as soon as I see the credit on my card I'm going to order the Nolan N104 Absolute Fade. It's quite a bit more money than the Bell, but it looks like that's just the price I'm going to have to pay for the lighter weight, darker tint and lower noise level and designed for glasses!

Not worth it
I bought this helmet for a cross country road trip and after 1400 miles it's falling apart. Screws in the chin guard are falling out, the rubber gasket around the bottom the helmet is pealingg off and appear to never have been aligned properly. But worst of all there is a square block behind the foam in the forehead that consistently leave a bruise after each ride. It's light weight and good looking but do yourself and your head a favor and buy something better

Nice looking helmet with the versatility of a segmented helmet, plus the BELL brand it's a great combination.
Ismael S on Mar 30, 2016
Looking for a replacement for my 5 years old Bilt Solar, this seemed like a reasonable replacement. I love the helmet, but it is very noisy. Had to get custom ear plugs made to make it ride-able on a long trip.
Shawn V on Nov 27, 2015
Wear glasses, wanted a modular, and reviews are good on the helmet. Only negative is noise at speed, but I generally am riding twisties rather than freeways
Timothy S on Nov 16, 2015
Have had a few Bells before. Reviews seem good.

makes life easier going thru vehicle check points e.g. military posts. I dont have to take my helmet off for an ID check. The internal sunvisor/cost/appearance are a plus. The final decision was based on a well spoken and informative decide and ride video.

I returned it. I replaced it with a Scorpion XO1000. I am very disappointed that Bell helmets are not made in the USA anymore.

Do the cheek pads have speaker pockets like my Mag-9 does?
Bryant C on Jan 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes it does, and I use it with a Sena SMH-10R to listen to music.
This helmet is great but I wear glasses and he cheek pads are VERY tight (My head isn't that big but went with XL). So with relatively thin glasses they press hard against my temples and hard to adjust the glasses while riding and pressing against eyes or face shield. Any ideas?
Robert F on May 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi, Robert. Good helmet, terrible with glasses. I took the cheekpads out, cut the seam at the top, removed about 3/4 inch of foam, and restitched the seam with upholstery thread. No pressure, glasses are comfortable, stay put. Public pix on Flickr, people, ZX14Ryder. That ok, RZ?
I measure between a large and x-large at 23.5"/59.5cm; what do you suggest for the Bell Revolver Evo?
A shopper on Aug 6, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Honestly, you could safely wear either. It's all personal preference. According to the size chart, I'm between a medium and large. I prefer a more-snug fit and went with the medium. Bell offers inexpensive, different size cheek pads, as well. You could get the XL and order the large cheek pads at a later date if you don't like the fit.
I like this helmet but I need it with a clear outer shield. It looks dark in the picture. I need clear 4 night riding. Does it come in clear?
A shopper on Mar 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes mine can with a clear and I ordered a dark smoke to go with it. They also have many other colors and shades and switch out is a breeze.
how do I change the internal sun visor ?
Wm. D on Mar 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I bought this for my brother, it was to small so he returned it. Sorry for not being any help.
