Perfect tint
I bought the silver iridium flat face shield for my bell bullitt helmet and absolutely love it. It's the perfect darkness in tint to ease up the sun so I don't have to wear sunglasses inside my helmet. I also love the clean 'mirror' look from the iridium on the gloss black helmet. Worth every penny.

Recommended for looks NOT durability
Although the silver iridium is about the coolest looking Daft Punk thing i've seen in the helmet world when combined with my tan and red Bullitt, man did this visor scratch easily. Surely this is a bigger problem with the reflective options, but now I have a couple permanent smudge zones in my vision. Honestly, as lame as it sounds to value form over function...still worth it. Oh and to switch visors you will need a flathead screwdriver or a coin, definitely not as quick as other brands etc...

Silver Iridium looks fantastic!
Purchased the silver iridium flat shield from Revzilla as my day-time shield, and have a yellow bubble shield (purchased from local shop) as a night-time shield, to go with a white Bullitt helmet.

Love the look. Very mad max.

Bright sunny days become neutral - I can see. It's fantastic.

The shield's been worn once for 50-75 miles and so far, no dings or scratches. At this point, it seems to be better quality than my original clear flat shield which is completely dinged up.

Nice addition
My helmet came with the Bell Bullit bubble shield, which provided great vision, but looks a little too scooter. It also wasn't tinted so I was wearing sun glasses underneath (when I remembered them!). The flat shield upgrades the look of the helmet significantly in my mind, and the tint really helps as well. Only quibble is the tint obscures the red detail slightly on my TT Bullit, whatcha gonna do?
Easily installed, comes with the cool and useful magnetic latch.

Just for show
This face shield is to expensive for a poor quality build. With in my third ride the rubber protecting the helmet from the magnet feel off... it's a face shield that's just for show.

Great sun strike blocker
The sun is very low in the sky in winter so the clear visor had to go !! Bought this Silver Iridium flat visor to go with my blue flake bell bullitt helmet , very happy with the finish , (thought it was going to me like a mirror on the wall , but its dark mirror ) It looks awesome & does the trick nicely !!!

Have yet to use it on a bright summer day out in the southwest. But so far it's been great
Helps block out the glare of the Sun very well. Have used it for travels less than 25 miles.we will see how it handles a road trip, especially sunset time.

Great shield replacement
The product was exactly as expected, and exactly like the original shield on the helmet. Super duper easy to replace, the product shipped in perfect condition. I love the helmet itself, but the review is for the shield. You don't need tools for the job, the flat head screw works with a coin in your pocket.

So happy I replaced my scratched up shield.

when I first bought the bullitt, I thought it would come with a flat sheild. I knew I wouldnt like the bubble. So, when it showed up with the bubble, I was pretty disappointed. The website is clear as day, I just missed it somehow. Turns out, I actually really like the bubble visor, but I still want to try the flatty. so here I am.

I picked the flat clear shield for my Bell Bullitt retro helmet (matte titanium) because I preferred it over the bubble shield. When I purchased my Bullitt I also purchased a dark smoke flat face shield. In the winter though the sun goes down sooner and I want to not have to curtail a days ride due to a dark shield. The dark shield will be my summer shield.

I have the clear shield that came with the Bullitt and riding home into the sun has been a bit annoying lately. The dark smoke looks pretty cool, and should work nicely calming down the sun thats beating on my face. At least until the fall/ winter when it starts to get dark early I'll switch back

BEST ANSWER: Its not the visor. Some of the bell bullitts just do this. I've had 4. Two have done this, both were tried with at least three shields. Bell replaced both helmets.
Wheres the yellow flat shield?! Promos advertised shields in 5 shades but there's only 4 flat shield shades. What gives?!

BEST ANSWER: I have used the Silver Iridium shield at night and I'll be the first to tell you it is NOT A GOOD IDEA. I unfortunately was caught up in something past sundown and tried to ride freeway speeds with the shield up but it was nearly impossible so I put the shield down. Your view is greatly reduced beyond safe riding. BUT if you can manage carrying the clear shield with you it's super easy to switch them back and forth. You can do it with a coin if it comes down to it. Otherwise, up to about 45mph riding with the face shield up is no problem. Anything above that the whistling wind noise is incredibly annoying and it pulls your head around - not to mention makes it difficult to keep your eyes open.

Hey folks, is the flat shield any quieter than the bubble? Does it seal any better up at the top of the visor than the bubble? Bubble has a 1/2" gap that buffets heavily with wind and noise.

BEST ANSWER: I noticed no real major difference when shield is closed. Riding with the shield up is a major difference! Flat face shield whistles herendously... I love the look of the the flat shield, but cruising city streets at moderate speeds the whistle is unbearable when shield is open.

BEST ANSWER: It seems that if you have a black interior, you will get black tabs. On the video you can see black tabs/tells you black on the matte black and white helmets. As for the solid black gloss, looks like silver tabs, Enter
I am a rider in the UK, are all of these visor colours legal within the uk and follow the require percentage of light permitted? if anyone could answer this that would be awesome!

BEST ANSWER: Probably not. I have the smoke visor, and it's definitely not legal at night here in the U.S. (but who's going to change their visor out every day?). If I were you, I'd look up your local laws though, because it could be wildly different.
