So far so good, and louder than expected!
Installed these on a new Scout with 500 miles.

Initial impression:
These are well-built and compliment the bike's design. Being completely hollow, they are also much lighter than stock.

Installation:
Original pipes were on extremely tight with top one taking a solid 30 minutes to remove. The other came off much easier.

Had to reuse the existing torc clamps-which were very difficult to mount on the Bassani pipes, basically had to be pounded in place, as the pipes were a just a bit thicker than stock. Afterward, it was a matter of setting in place, then tightening 3 bolts.

Sound & Performance:
My goal was to get a deeper, more aggressive sound. I knew these would be louder going in, but as another reviewer stated, are borderline ringing my ears when throttling, so it's more than I personally expected.

Sounds great when idling. If you want something loud, these are the pipes to get, as people unmistakably will hear you coming. Wish they had a baffle option to tone it down just a bit.

Haven't remapped the fuel management yet, but it seems to ride just fine. Overall very pleased.

The Scout sounds great
The Scout now has a great sound and these look much better than the stock exhaust. There is a nice throaty rumble now. Initially I thought they might be too loud but I later realized this was because I was stopped up and my hearing was muffled. After 500 miles I'm still loving the sound.

As some others have stated, the hardest part of the install was getting the factory exhaust off.

The price and quality of these have me considering putting Bassani's on my other bike.

They'll hear you coming...
The Bassani slip-ons look fantastic but keep in mind that they are much louder than the stock pipes. Honestly, I expected them to have a slightly louder, deeper sound but these guys will rattle your ears a bit. If Bassani makes a quiet baffle, I may install it. Overall, these are terrific pipes and you won't be disappointed.

Bassani 3" Slip on Exhaust for Indian Scout
These Bassani 3" slip on mufflers were easy to install. Removal of the OEM muffler was not difficult as this bike only had 600 miles on it. Fit of the Bassani was very tight as you would expect. Lower one went right on with some persuasion. Had to file the ID of the upper one to get is started on the exhaust. Sound is awsome compared to the OEM. Not reall loud but it has a deep throaty tone.
The water temp with the OEM exhaust had reached 204 f. with these it is running 175f to 185f on the warmest days.
Slash cut at the end is reversed compaired to the photo. Thought this was not correct but it is the only way I could install as the support brackets fit up to the existing hangers. Mistake in fabrication.

Excellent Sound, very loud - 2017 Victory Octane
I own a few cafe racer bikes and have really been looking for a cruiser. I finally landed on the Victory Octane but it didn't take long before I was really struggling with the fact that there hasn't been any aftermarket parts for the Victory Octane yet, less a few overpriced parts from Victory. Granted, I knew this would be an issue, obviously I have less patience than I thought! I did some reading and forums indicated that most* bolt on exhaust setups for the Scout would work for the Octane with minimal issues. They were mostly correct.

The Octane's headers are staggered where they meet the mufflers and the Scout's are at the same spot, so this lead to a bit of a problem. I was able to get around that by using some medium gauge sheet metal, drilling some holes, connecting it to where the factory mufflers attached, and then attached the new mufflers to that. It all worked pretty slick but it did take a tiny bit of additional effort.

All in all these were a little bit louder than I expected but they have a great tone. I wouldn't mind if they were a little more quiet but I figured I'd rather exhaust level exceed my expectations than not meet my expectations.

Anyways, I love these pipes and would definitely recommend but if you're worried about your neighbors being bothered by the noise, perhaps you should look at something else.

Look good, sound great
I bought these for my wife's Indian. They installed easily and quickly. The hardest part was breaking the old pipes loose. I think they look great they are long enough to cover the rear axle nut . The smaller diameter pipe gives the bike a much smoother look in my opinion. They are significantly louder than the stock mufflers but not enough to make neighbors really hate you. They have a great sound at idle all the way to highway speed. They were installed about 400 miles ago I choose not to add a power commander system and it did not have the stock drive reflash at the dealer. So far I've had no issues . Ride safe and keep the shiny side up .

Love the sound and looks
These make the scout look so much cleaner than the stock pipes. Very happy with how they look. Just as happy with the sound. They are quite loud, but don't think they're over the top to the point that it'll make too many people angry.

I didn't fine the install to be as easy as others said. Had no problem getting the stock pipes off but had metal on metal trying to get the new ones on. Had to sand down the inside of the pipes slightly to get things started. Not too bad, but not as easy as other reviews had led me to believe.

This product has great sound
The slip on exhaust was very easy to put on and only took about 20 min to complete. For how simple and cheap they were it still gives your bike an amazing sound
