A must have for cooler weather riding
This neck warmer is a must have for cold/cool weather riding. The micro-fleece material is quite comfortable and seems to perform well even in sub zero temperatures. This is a great piece of winter gear to have for both on and off the bike.

Great product for the price.
This product is pretty basic, but I find it has been super effective. It is a simple double layered polyester fleece. It feels a bit bulky under my jacket's collar cause its a one size fits all, and I am a small girl with a short neck. That aside it's super comfy, and blocks the wind and cold surprisingly well for having no specific windblock features. It's not rainproof at all, but this has not proved a problem as my helmet and jacket block any significant rain that would hit my neck. I love in Seattle, so it's cold but not freeezing, and I'm basing this review on my daily commute experience, which is mostly at speeds under 60.

Warms the neck!
I commute across Lake Washington every day, so I needed something to keep my neck dry and warm. This neck warmer does the job. It's soft and does not itch at all.

Great product at a greater price
I like to wear a neck 'protector' all year long. This fits the bill as it will be warm in the cooler months, but is not too hot in the summer.

Great neck warmer
Used this a bunch on a recent trip from WVa to Fla and back. Temps were down around 30 degrees Fht one morning but my neck was comfortable while riding. Also wore it on my head in the tent during the night with temps down to 30 and stayed comfortable. Would have been in trouble without this.

Works well!
I have only used this 3 times so far in 40 to 50 degree weather, and it has worked very well. Make sure your jacket has a high enough collar to come up to the bottom of this neck warmer - otherwise you will have a gap that still gets cold. And just be aware that this isn't all that 'stretchy' - I have a large head and wear a 17" neck dress shirt, and this fits fairly snug. In other words I mess up my hair a whole lot trying to put it on or take it off. But on it stays in place very well, it's thin enough that it doesn't mess with the chin strap on my helmet too much, and it is warm enough to be very useful! Not sure how cold it will be useful to, but at least in the 40 to 50 degree range it is doing the job nicely.

Does the Job
This neck warmer gets the job done! I am a commuter driving to and from work. At night it gets around 50 degrees plus wind chill and my neck is completely warm and cozy. Definitely pick one up!

Toasty warm and comfortable!
My old fleece neck warmer had worn out so i bought this on clearance. It's easy to put on, very comfortable and warm enough for near freezing temps. Very high quality as with most Alpinestars products. I love it.

Ive finally found IT
Have been searching for the perfect thing to keep me protected from the wind.

Went through two different types of balaklava's and 2 different types of neck warmers before i found this. It's so simple..it just works. Stops the wind from entering through the collar of your jacket, protects your neck and chin from wind and prevents some air from entering your helmet.

just slip the sock on, tuck it into the neck of your jacket before you zip it up all the way. Grab the neck warmer with your mouth then slip your helmet on. Secure the D ring on the helmet and then let go of the neck warmer from your mouth. Done deal.

Keeps you warm without constricting your brain like a balaklava does
