Yamaha confirms new R1 for 2015 with teaser video

The video, titled "Nothing Stays The Same," shows some unfortunately unrevealing footage of the the 2015 Yamaha R1 on the track, followed by comments from Yamaha riders Valentino Rossi and Josh Hayes.

The only telling piece of information is a brief clip of the instrument panel, which shows a very nice-looking LCD screen showing a number of acronyms and interesting pieces of information. Any guesses as to what "LIF" is?

This video is the second released by Yamaha, with the first showing a single-sided swingarm, fully adjustable forks, and some massive brake calipers.

Yamaha is set to unveil the 2015 YZF-R1 at the EICMA show on Nov. 3. Stay tuned.
