Video: Red Bull, a trials bike, and a roller coaster

Dec 11, 2014

Every time I see a video like this, I think people will run out of ideas at some point.

This video is pretty clear proof that I'm just plain wrong.

Meet French trials legend Julien Dupont. He's really, really good at stuff. One of the things he's good at is doing maneuvers on a motorcycle (or, more specifically a trials bike) that just shouldn't really be possible. Together with Red Bull, he decided to show you some of those things on the Montaña Rusa, a wooden roller coaster at the La Feria de Chapultepec amusement park in Mexico City that is famous for being the tallest wooden roller coaster in the country.

While this riding is incredibly impressive, a big part of me is pretty grateful no one is asking me to do a back flip on a motorcycle 100 feet off the ground on some old wooden roller coaster.
