The Comoto family of brands is pledging up to $25,000 to support a national non-profit that uses minibikes as part of a mentoring program for kids ages 10 to 17 and is also giving you a dozen chances to win a STACYC stability cycle and riding gear to get a child in your life started in motorcycling.

The Gift of Riding campaign starts today, with Comoto — parent company of RevZilla, Cycle Gear and J&P Cycles — matching up to $25,000 in donations to The National Youth Project Using Minibikes (NYPUM). Founded in 1969, NYPUM matches kids with mentor adults and helps them gain self-esteem and self-discipline by learning off-road riding. Teens develop riding skills and see firsthand how decisions they make lead directly to the results they achieve.

The sweepstakes component of The Gift of Riding is a chance for you to win a STACYC bike and riding gear and introduce a child you love to the joys of two wheels. STACYC will provide 12 bikes to be given away to the winners, six 12e models and six 16e models, which are valued at $649 and $849, respectively. Also, Bilt will give each winner a youth rider package of helmet, jersey and gloves, worth more than $100.
Enter the sweepstakes at the donate page where you can also support the NYPUM. And remember that Comoto is matching your donations.
Three winners of a STACYC bike and riding gear will be chosen each day from Dec. 28 through Dec. 31, and you can sign up until the final day of the giveaway.

The Gift of Riding campaign is the second major Comoto charity campaign this year. In June, The Ride is Calling campaign raised more than $100,000 for three motorcycle-related non-profit organizations. The new campaign is an obvious choice, as many members of the Comoto family have children and understand the joys and benefits of passing on their love of riding.
"Our partnership with STACYC to support the efforts of The National Youth Project Using Minibikes is near and dear to the Comoto family," said Comoto President and CEO Ken Murphy. "As an organization with hundreds of families that have young riders learning the lifelong skills and confidence gained from our sport, we're honored to continue that legacy through the programs run by NYPUM."
