I've been looking forward to next week for a long time. Next week, I get to ride the Ducati Scrambler.
For many of you, this may not seem like a big deal. I can assure you, it is.
Not only do I think the bike will be good, and by good I mean really good, but I also think it will be huge for the industry. Its release made news not only in the motorcycle press, but also in the general press all around the world. I had friends who hadn't heard of Ducati calling me to ask me about the bike, telling me it made them really consider motorcycling. It even popped up on my family's radar. An uncle asked me about the bike during Thanksgiving dinner.
After riding the Monster 796, sitting on the Scrambler at the Progressive International Motorcycle Show, and watching this video (which uses the Termi system found on the Full Throttle trim), I think you're going to be interested in what Ducati has come up with.
Even if you're not personally interested in the bike, the world is, and that's good for all of us.
