Great so far! I've owned this for a couple of months now and it is probably one of the most comfortable pieces of motorcycle gear I've worn. Arms are a little snug, and the cut is true as described - more sporty than not. Leather is supple and feels light yet protective. Textile seems like it will stay together in a slide. Armor in elbows and shoulder fit well and are fairly non-obtrusive. I bought the SAS-tec back protector to replace the foam pad that came in the jacket - suits the jacket well with some modification.
I look forward to using it much more frequently when it warms up a bit. Bearable in low- to mid-60s (F) temperatures with a long-sleeve. Gets chilly below that.

I'd been eyeing this baby for ages, so when it came out on sale I went for it immediately. Overall fit and finish is excellent, nothing to complain about here for Rev'It, unlike some its cheaper textile offerings. It's best to think of this as a leather sportbike-type jacket that just happens to have mesh panels on the chest, so don't expect it to be as airy as a full-mesh textile jacket like the Air. Nevertheless good for warm weather riding and is certainly more airy than full perf-leather jacket.
The arm panels, where not leather, are actually textile. I haven't broken it in yet but out of the box but it is already extremely comfy to wear. Arm and shoulder protectors are softer viscoelastic type armour and mould to your body shape. Overall a very pleasing buy.

I had been looking to get one of these used for a while, and saw these were on sale and went for one. At the reduced price, it is a great jacket! Has protection where you need it and flows a good bit of air. It has a very sporty fit, which I like, and looks pretty cool. I just wish the leather was perforated. This would help to improve the air flow a good bit. I still sweat in it when it's hot outside (I live in GA, it's pretty humid in the summer), but it does what it's supposed to.
I feel the leather in the impact areas is a much needed addition to this type of jacket. I also own a REV'IT Airforce jacket, which is supposed to have some pretty abrasion recent material. I went down on the street on it at around 30-35 mph (I looked away from traffic for a split second and when I looked back I realized I had to brake and grabbed too much, probably also pulled on the handlebars). The fall ripped through the fabric pretty easily at the elbow armor, I actually scrapped up my arm a little where there was no armor. I was not impressed with it to say the least. I was also wearing a pair of Shift Lowdown jeans and you can barely tell I hit the asphalt on those and they are cotton, and I took a pretty hard hit to my hip.
But overall a cool looking and functional jacket!

Overall the jacket is much better than I anticipated since I've never had a Rev'it jacket. In terms of materials and construction it is amazing - better than my leather Dainese and Alpinestars jackets. The stitching and attention to detail is just incredible. It flows a lot of air but is not as cool as a pure mesh textile jacket - but has a lot more protection it seems. The styling is subdued except for the big "REV'IT!" on the back and arms which looks downright silly IMO. Luckily they are stiched thin leather pieces and you can take them off carefully. Other than that it is the highest quality jacket I have found so far.

I bought this jacket as a closeout item. Usually I wear a 40-42 US spec (50-52 Euro) Alpinestar jackets. I had been wanting this jacket for awhile and when I saw it was on closeout it was a no-brainer. The fitment was perfect, I bought a 48 Euro/38 US, very comfortable and still have room for a back protector. The shoulder and elbow CE rated pads are very protective, only downside is that there's only a foam pad for the back.

Let's start with fit, since that's always tricky with online ordering. Bought a 54 and fits great. Perfect across the shoulders, appropriately snug across the chest, just enough clearance in the chest and under the arms, and a little room at the waist so I can snug it down using the velcro if I want or leave a little room for extra air. I'm 6' 1" and 215 lbs, wear a 44L jacket 36"-37" waist, 16.5 neck and 34-35" sleeve. The sleeve opening fits perfectly overtop the RevIt Airvolution gloves I wear with it.
Style - Bought the white and black version. Jacket looks AWESOME. I have to fight my girlfriend off me every time I put it on...and vice versa - we got his and hers of the same coat and gloves she looks wicked hot in hers.
Comfort - Race fit and preshaping is perfect for sport riding and all the internal garment finishing is top notch. Wearing a short sleeve shirt underneath reveals NO sharp edges etc. VERY soft and comfy inside. The armor and preshaping is excellent!
Workmanship - Stitching and attention to detail is spectacular. Provides both internal and external stitching so should be very durable too.
Protection - Top notch armor.
Ventillation - Very good flow through the body. A bit warm in the forearms of the sleeves compared to full mesh but compared to full leather it's much cooler overall. For the level of protection provided by the leather and armor in the arms it's a fair trade. I've been out on cool nights and comfortable into the high 50s with a T shirt underneath.
Cons - As with all RevIt coats I've tried, the zippers just seem a bit light duty - but they say they'll fix anything that fails so we'll see.
Overall - Great coat. Pairing it with his and hers white Airvolution gloves - we're the bad a## Bobsy twins :)

I did enough (ok, more than enough) research to convince myself that this jacket was worth the price -- well constructed from quality materials and with an understated sense of style that doesn't scream out "This'll go great with my purple faux-hawk & Kiss Army boots!" (Are you listening, Icon?)
The reason I'm writing, though, is that I hesitated for a long time, based on all the "slim fit" comments. Well, I'm 5'11", 233 lbs., fairly but not insanely broad-shouldered (I wear a 46 reg sportcoat/suit), and I have a bit of a gut. Well, I'm very happy to report that the 58 fits perfectly, and I even have a bit of room to spare, in the event that I have a few slices of pizza and a beer or 2 after my ride. The fit is very close to Spidi, Dainese, and Alpinestars size 58 (maybe just slightly smaller in the gut area) if you're familiar with those brands; much more room than my RS Tai'chi 58, which is, umm, really freakin' snug. Nice range of motion on the sportbike as well, but due to the density of the mesh, you should know that this is not going to flow air like a 'loose weave' mesh jacket (which doesn't offer near as much protection) or even some of the heavily perf'd leather jackets I own, but it's a lot lighter & somehow more comfortable in 90+ degree heat than any full-leather jacket I've found. Bottom line: I'm glad I went for it, and the Revzilla folks were most cool; received it (via free ground) Philly to DC in 2 days. Definitely a good choice for 6 - 7 months out of the year, depending on where you live of course.

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements.  REV'IT! sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
