The Schott Classic Perfecto Jacket is just that, the ideal "motorcycle leather jacket."
The Perfecto jacket is 26" in length and features a belted front, bi-swing back, several zippered pockets, zippered adjustable sleeves and an insulated, non-removable, nylon quilted lining. The Perfecto Jacket is made from only the best naked cowhides and provides a lifetime of style and protection and completes that biker look you've been pining for, cop yours and head down to CBGB OMFUG (RIP).
Every thing you'd expect
I received this jacket from my father, who wore it for over 30 years before passing it down to me. It is every thing you'd expect from the original American made leather jacket. I actually didn't know the history of the jacket (or the price!) until I had already been wearing it for a few months. I'm 5'11'' with a 40" chest and an average build, and the 40 Long fits me perfectly.
This jacket is light on features, but delivers on classic styling and longevity. The lining is warm but not too hot for temperatures up into the 70's. The belt and front zipper are functional as well as stylish, and the infamous front Zippo pouch is great for holding keys or an ID card.
A few of the snaps and zippers no longer work on the jacket, although the jacket is probably forty or fifty years old by now, so that is to be expected. The leather is nicked in a few spots, but still looks great. When they call this jacket durable, they aren't kidding. I low sided at 35 MPH and, besides a few scuffs to the left arm, the leather held up and protected me well.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy this jacket if your budget allows. It is an investment in American motorcycle heritage as well years and years of riding to come.

Really nice leather. The sleeves are just a bit long.
Like the belt and the snap if you wear it open.
Great jacket, wish I bought it years ago.
I ride through the Ohio winter if the streets are dry.
Wear a Gerbing liner under jacket.

USA Made Awesomeness
I just got my first Schott jacket and it is everything I hoped for. Don't even sweat the cost, it's completely worth every penny. After learning the story behind this American brand and the iconic history of the Schott family you won't feel like a good American if you buy a cheap knock off that was made by slaves being mistreated in foreign lands. This jacket is perfecto in my book. I am 6' & 200 lbs with a 44" chest so I ordered a size 44 and it fits like a glove. Its breaking in nicely and is already conforming to my shape. I can tell this jacket is going to get a lot of mileage. Thanks RevZ!

Very cool jacket...be careful with sizing
This jacket is very cool. The quality of leather is very high, and just like Revzilla advertises, this is a jacket you will be wearing for years.
Sizing: I was very careful when ordering my size, but the sleeves are a little long. I have small wrists so I am able to tuck them in and it just works - but not everyone will be able to do this. I cannot however suggest ordering a size down, as if I did that I think the jacket would have been too short around the waist.
Armor: It has none! I wish the jacket had armor, and I think it would be possible to keep the cool retro fit and include at least some elbow and back plates.
Weather: I am a little worried about how the leather will hold up in rain, but I was warned about that when I made the purchase. The leather is very soft. Schott makes a similar jacket with some form of clear coating that is meant to be better for the elements, but I did not think the leather finish looked as cool as the Schott 118. This jacket does hold up to the cold temps. I rode 2 hours in 40 degrees. I would not say I was warm, but I did not freeze either - very well insulated.

Ordered it a size smaller than usual and it fit perfect. Warm jacket so I use this in Canada when riding my 83 Honda CB1000 custom.
