Sargent World Sport Performance Seat BMW R1150RT / R1100RT
Had the others, Owned the Sargents 2x, Now time for the 3rd. BMW R1150RT
Durability, (FOGIT ABUT IT, YO)
No worries there, fantastic fitment and finish.
My last bike, 2003 Triumph Sprint ST, 955i, had the sargent seat already on the bike. He was the 2nd owner, and I don't believe the Jamoke knew what he had. Basicly, he was afraid to ride it, couldn't handle the power.
Anyways, to the point. He had no garage and lives outside Baltimore. Talk about bad bike weather. Jamoke just left it parked outside 3 years, no cover, no tarp, nothing.....WTH?
Snow, rain and blazing sun 3-5x year. Outside the whole time.
I bought the Sprint less then i/2 nada and took a chance. The Seat Cleaned up great after scrubbing with leather cleaners and scotch scrubbers. I Did Not Expect So, but it restored and came out beautifly. Special material? idk, magic? I'll take it.
Comfort? Nice. Seemed a bit stiff compared to the stock set up, but just firm enough to let you notice a change and a bertter more secure riding feel. Also, the wife really love that set up. She said she had a more secure and comfortable riding position. (happy wife, happy life).
The Bad part.................................. After adding 47,756 miles over the 5 years I've tripped around the country.......................
I SOLD IT........dang I loved that bike.............But, good part..
Just bought a New to Me, 02 BMW R1150RT..........YIPPIE...
So, here we go again, shopping for the Sargent seats for the beemer...... This bikes a keeper, so, I'm trying to Squeeze the Cheese and buy another. Wish me luck, as to I've got two Daughters at college, lol. I've got to squirle the $ around over next few months inorder to get this Beemer right.
Local Rob, upper E. Tennessee rider. Just off RT129, the Dragon.
ps; nothing against Corbin or others, and NO, I do not work for anyone.

Great seat for short people
I wish I bought this seat sooner, before I dropped my bike on a steep hill. The seat is nice and comfortable and you don't slide around on it. At first my legs were a little cramped due to the lower seat height but I got used to it.

I wish I had bought this a long time ago.
I purchased the low version for my R1150RT. My wife was having issues with her back and hips with the stock pillion seat. With the stock seat I could put my feet flat with the suspension set for solo, but just barely. We were impressed with the quality and appearance of the seat. It really dresses up the bike! It performs just as good as it looks! My wife can ride longer and isn't in pain when she gets off the bike. My feet can be planted well enough for increased stability when stopped. With both like the wider and more ergonomic platforms. Our butts don't get as tired as quick!

Product life's up to it's advertising .
The site is easy to use. The prices are good. I had a question and it was promptly answered. This is my second Sargent seat. I'm very happy with their product.
