Sargent World Sport Performance Seat BMW F650GS / F700GS / F800GS
Good seat. A bit slippery.
I replaced a BMW "Comfort Seat" with this Sargent. Similar in shape and fit, but considerably more comfortable. The BMW seat was too hard and hurt after about 200 miles. Sargent is good for 300, and the discomfort after that is manageable. Only complaint is that the vinyl surface is a bit slippery during hard braking; you have to brace to avoid slipping forward. I don't ride off road, but I suspect the slipping would be annoying for that. The somewhat more expensive "enduro" model of the seat might be a better choice.

Sharp profile at seat edge
I've got 34" inseam and still found the edge of seat too severe, very uncomfortable on back of my leg. I'd look for a seat with a smooth curve profile at the edge.

Much better than the stock F800 GS seat
The seat is much better than the stock one. With the stock seat the ride becomes painfull after about 15 min but with this seat I can ride several hours with no pain in the butt. I am able to maintain my normal riding position but in that position I am not taking full advantage of the seats comfort. I would recommend buying risers when you buy this seat.

Miles better than the stock BMW seat.
Very comfortable. The "cup" shape restricts the sitting position somewhat compare to the original "banana seat", and the reach to the handlebars was a bit long, requiring me to lean forward slightly, so I got some 20 mm bar risers (which I was going to do anyway.) This combination seems just about ideal for me.

The seat fit perfect but it is a bit higher than the stock seat, it raised my height about an inch more. You also sit a little further back compared to the stock seat, but you get used to it fairly quick. I rode 1000 miles right out if the box and I was able to ride 4x longer than the stock seat. Now it's been a couple of weeks since I had it and it we'll broken in and it feels great. I took a passenger and they said the seat was comfortable but then again that only sat on the bike for about 30 minutes max. It is well made and looks awesome on the bike.

This seat was a snap to install, fits perfectly and is quite comfortable. It is far superior to the bmw seat. Revzilla's price was also reasonable by comparison.

Excellent seat. Much more comfortable than the original stock. Somewhat overpriced. But a real improvement.

This seat is a HUGE improvement over the stock seat on the F700GS. My butt would be miserable after 45 minutes on that stock torture device. (Why BMW can't put decent seats on their bikes, I don't know.) I just finished a 1000 mile trip over 5 days on the Sargent seat and was comfortable the entire way. It seems to be just the right firmness and allows you room to move around. I am 165 pounds and 5'11".
