Sargent World Sport Performance Seat BMW F650GS / F700GS / F800GS
It does work with some modifictions
Where to start. Well after 5,000 miles it is definitely broken in. I purchased this seat like so many others to replace my stock seat. Took some getting used to at first and I had to install bar risers (the ones that allow you to also move the bars back). I am 5'8'' tall and there was no way I could use this seat with out those risers. Yes it did increase my seat height at least and inch. Also found that on the F700GS it still pushes me forward. Talked to Sargent about this at the BMW rally and the guy told me that I was not the first to tell him this. Would have been nice if Sargent would correct this for me for free, but this was not offered. instead I can spend more money to send it in to them to have some custom work done. Still thinking this over. Seems crazy after spending 400$.Anyway I do like the seat for an off the shelf unit. Fits on the bike perfect and is very comfy after a 600 mile day. Yes it is not a perfect solution, but what is. Also I will keep this seat on my bike for next years riding season. I think that means that I do like it.

Big improvement over stock seat
It still needs some well placed jell, but this seat is a big improvement over the stock seat. Fit and Finish is excellent. Geometry is improved for both the rider and passenger. My personal "south end" still gets sore on longer rides. Nice document storage under seat.

Sargent seat - F700 GS
As most have found, the stock seat on my F700 GS was good for about an hour and a half at the most. I've put Sargent seats on several of my bikes and this one was no different. Apparently they have this down to a science for my butt. Even though I am a small guy and these seats can accommodate large rear ends they have always given me long distance, all day comfort. Add in the better price from Revzilla than direct from Sargent and the quick, free shipping and it's a no-brainer.
Way to go Revzilla!

Immediate improvement over stock seat
I installed this seat on my 2015 BMW F700GS before leaving for a 1200+ mile, 6-day trip to the Adirondacks. The seat fit the bike perfectly, right out of the box. My bike is a low suspension + low seat model, and I was worried that this seat would raise the seat height, but it did not; I could still reach the ground without a problem. I did not experience a "breaking-in" period with this seat; it was comfortable from the first mile, and a noticeable improvement over the stock seat. I did notice that the seat "cup" is well behind my butt, unreachable by me (at 5' 4" tall), without installing a handlebar extension. I might choose to do that in the future.

It's a great motorcycle seat.
I think the quality is top notch. As good as OEM. This is the seat the manufacturer should have installed.

New riding experience
This seat is a huge difference from the stock BMW seat. With the stock seat I could only ride for 30 minutes max before it was uncomfortable. I installed this seat and went for a multi hour ride with NO discomfort. It is a lot of money, no doubt about it. But, there is no sense in having a bike that you don't look forward to riding. I didn't rate the durability because I've only been on a few rides. The seat fits perfectly on the bike. I am 5' 8" 165 lbs. and I didn't notice much difference in ride height. I does push me back in the saddle a little bit but I think that's something I'll get used to. You can get bar risers to remedy that as well. It's a small price to pay for such a huge improvement in comfort. Oh, did I mention, I ordered the seat and it arrived in 2 days! Plus I had $30 in RevZilla cash so I knocked that off the price. RevZilla is a great company to work with.

Good seat. A bit slippery.
I replaced a BMW "Comfort Seat" with this Sargent. Similar in shape and fit, but considerably more comfortable. The BMW seat was too hard and hurt after about 200 miles. Sargent is good for 300, and the discomfort after that is manageable. Only complaint is that the vinyl surface is a bit slippery during hard braking; you have to brace to avoid slipping forward. I don't ride off road, but I suspect the slipping would be annoying for that. The somewhat more expensive "enduro" model of the seat might be a better choice.

Sharp profile at seat edge
I've got 34" inseam and still found the edge of seat too severe, very uncomfortable on back of my leg. I'd look for a seat with a smooth curve profile at the edge.
