Sargent World Sport Performance BMW F650GS / F800GS 08+ Seat
The seat fit perfect but it is a bit higher than the stock seat, it raised my height about an inch more. You also sit a little further back compared to the stock seat, but you get used to it fairly quick. I rode 1000 miles right out if the box and I was able to ride 4x longer than the stock seat. Now it's been a couple of weeks since I had it and it we'll broken in and it feels great. I took a passenger and they said the seat was comfortable but then again that only sat on the bike for about 30 minutes max. It is well made and looks awesome on the bike.

This seat was a snap to install, fits perfectly and is quite comfortable. It is far superior to the bmw seat. Revzilla's price was also reasonable by comparison.

Excellent seat. Much more comfortable than the original stock. Somewhat overpriced. But a real improvement.

This seat is a HUGE improvement over the stock seat on the F700GS. My butt would be miserable after 45 minutes on that stock torture device. (Why BMW can't put decent seats on their bikes, I don't know.) I just finished a 1000 mile trip over 5 days on the Sargent seat and was comfortable the entire way. It seems to be just the right firmness and allows you room to move around. I am 165 pounds and 5'11".

seat has discolored
This is a fantastic seat! Leaps and bounds better than the stock seat. I am able to move around in the 'dished' area to easily adjust my comfort during a ride. The foam is really quite ideal, tbh. However the seat has become discolored; showing white streaks where the upholstery creases. A result of the carbon covering? In any case I would like to speak to someone about this issue. Overall a great seat as it should be for the price!

Better than stock but not perfect
Stock BMW seat is almost unbearable after 30 minutes. The Sargent is much better but not perfect. Great fit, finish and weight. Hot spots appear about 45 minutes into ride. These can be dissipated by shifting weight

A great seat choice for the F800 GS
In my experience stock BMW seats seem only to function as placeholders to get you home from the showroom without needing an immediate spinal transplant. The stock F800 GS seat is no exception. There are a number of after market seats available for this bike that are improvements on the original (that's not a difficult task), and this Sargent seat has proven to be a good choice for me. Sargent also makes an "enduro" style seat for the F800 GS that I was able to test ride, and I found it terribly uncomfortable. It's hard to believe that you'd spend so much time on the pegs that you wouldn't need to touch down once in a while, and the enduro seat certainly encouraged me to remain standing as long as possible. This seat has a sculpted seat area up front that is infinitely more comfortable than the plank-like enduro version. Motorcycle seats are a very subjective thing, and what feels good to me might not to you. I'm 5'-11", 185 pounds with a 30" inseam if that helps you calibrate how this seat might work for you. The quality of construction is first-rate, as it is on all Sargent seats. I have one on my BMW R1150 RT that has served me very, very well over the years. Sargent seats fit the bikes I've had like a glove- they go on and come off as well as the originals. The seat covering seems resistant to just about anything you'd pour on it, and the foam interior holds up really well and continues to feel comfortable as the years go by. Buying a seat is tough thing to do if you can't sit on your bike and experience what the thing will feel like, but I lucked out with this Sargent seat- it might work for you too.

Sargent seat for F650GS twin
Much better then stock, dish for your butt puts you a little further back than stock, necessitating 20mm bar risers on my F650GS to avoid pressure on my wrists, but way more comfortable then stock. Carbon FX is slick, so you slide a little in the saddle, but aI like that- it does scuff easily as well, so you have to watch out for that. Very pleased overall.
