hard as a brick..!!!!!!!!
After 3000 miles on this seat its still a brick. I'm 50 yo 5.6t 148# and I'm back to the stock seat so much better....here's the problem, the lower Sargent seat is built on the same pan as the reg. height one .so if your smaller rider and yes I'm in great shape the edge of the seat digs in to your butt and leg area really bad .this seat is way to wide .or maybe if the edges were rounded over it would be better ? Very slippery not great for agressive 2 up riding. So yes I hate this seat.....now I have 7500 miles on stock seat .and only 3000 and lots of dust from sitting in garage..just remember revezilla is the best places to buy bike parts .very happy with them .and very fast shipments.

Great, high quality option over the OEM seat
After spending 4 1/2 years with the stock seat I decided it had to go. I couldn't ride over an hour with my butt hurting from the constant pressure of sliding into the gas tank. The Sargent seat is angled slightly different to prevent this. The quality, fit and finish are excellent and it installs in one minute. I haven't done a long ride yet but I can already tell it's a vast improvement over the OEM seat. The seat isn't soft so don't expect a gel pad, plush seat. It's adequately firm to provide support over the long haul. I'm really happy with it so far and look forward to it only getting better with time.

Sargent seats are tops.
I don't have this particular Sargent seat, but I've had several (as well as brand "C") and I can tell you from experience they are the world's most comfy seat. I easily did (all things being relative) a 970 mile day on my Sargent equipped Triumph Sprint ST. Do something nice for your butt, buy a Sargent.

Huge upgrade over OEM seat
The Sargent seat is HUGE improvement in appearance. Looks really great with the silver piping. The stock seat looked cheap. I made a two day ride with many hours in the saddle and arrived without my butt hurting as it did before with the stock seat. It fits me ergonomically fairly well, enough so that I don't feel that the extra cost and bother of a custom seat would be worth it. My son-in-law has a custom seat which doesn't look nearly as sharp as the Sargent. For a point of reference, I am a 62 guy, 6' 180 lbs. Unless you are shorter, taller, heavier., etc. than ordinary I think you would be happier with this seat than many custom ones.

Fitment guide says it will fit 08-12 Concours 14 ABS. I purchased the low version and it does fit 2014 model year. Installed just fine locks secure. Seat is comfortable but it is firmer than the factory seat. Fit and finish is great!

No difference at first
When I changed seats, at first didnt notice much difference. Thought I wasted my money. Then I took my first long trip on it (1600 miles). Doesnt feel much lower than stock, but I didnt get sore as much after 8 hrs riding. My longest day was 488 miles in 8.5 hours and felt fine. Havent had a passenger on yet, so I cant tell you if they like it better.

A real pain in the rear! Kawasaki C14
Sargent puts a storage compartment in the rear of the seat. Great idea very poor execution. The compartment does not allow you to sit back in the seat. There is virtually no padding in the compartment area. This is a very uncomfortable seat. I own two bikes the Victory listed and a Kawasaki C14. The seat reviewed is for the C14.

Great upgrade from the OEM seat
I have tended toward buying a new bike every few years but have found that the Concours is a keeper. Every aftermarket part I've installed has made the bike that much better, from bar risers to throttle locks to a slip-on exhaust. I was looking for a seat that enabled me to sit a little lower and plant both feet at stops and I found it in the Sargent product. The seat showed up quickly, and per the other reviews, installed easily without hassle. I was a little surprised by it's firmness, but once I put a few miles on it, the density of it made sense. I find it very comfortable and less confining than the stock seat. Also, I am 5' 9" and can flat-foot it at stop-lights. I opted for the seat with black piping and I think it looks great, really almost like an OEM part. Can't be 100% sure about the durability yet; I've only had it a month. Great product and highly recommended.
